Punctured adjacency-degree algebras of Cartesian products
For a connected regular graph G and a vertex a, we study the algebra generated by the adjacency and degree matrices of G-a and its cyclic module P_a generated by the all-ones vector. Our main theorem determines dim P_a for Cartesian products whose factors have equitable distance partitions at the chosen roots. A normalized logarithmic derivative of the local spectral generating function partitions the factors into boundary classes. We identify the boundary-return space exactly and express dim P_a as a sum of affine ranks on additive spectral fibres. For a distance-regular factor with distinct spectrum Θ, this gives dim P_a(F^{\square m}) = |mΘ| - 1. For products of powers of two distinct complete graphs, we evaluate the fibre formula in closed form. We also determine the full punctured algebras of all Hamming graphs: equality with the compressed Terwilliger algebra holds precisely in dimensions at most four for the hypercube and at most two for larger alphabets. For distance-regular graphs, adjacency moments alone determine the intersection array, with an explicit finite reconstruction. Finally, Cartesian stabilizer formulas separate metric loss from orbit splitting; on Doob graphs their distance-graded defect recovers the number of Shrikhande factors.

Two-basepoint Terwilliger algebras and the quantum symmetry of prime-order circulants
Which vertex-transitive graphs of prime order have quantum symmetry? The question of Banica, Bichon and Chenevier is open in the dense regime of Paley graphs, where coherent-algebra methods give no information. To each such graph we attach a two-basepoint Terwilliger algebra of its cyclotomic scheme and study the module it generates from the basepoints: fullness forces the quantum permutation algebra to be commutative, and the module admits no intermediate state, containing either exactly two point masses or all $p$ of them. One point mass, captured at any depth, therefore suffices, and Chassaniol's orbital criterion is the depth-one case. Three consequences follow. A sharp counting argument replaces the Banica--Bichon--Chenevier threshold $p>6^{\varphi(k)}$ by the quadratic bound $p>(k-1)(k-2)+2$, where $k$ is the type. Four certificates, each a short list of additions modulo $p$, settle $C_{31}(2,4,8,15)$ and $C_{41}(4,10,16,18)$, the two graphs left open by Chassaniol, and complete the classification for type at most $10$ without machine assistance. An exact computation extends the dichotomy ``quantum symmetry if and only if complete or empty'' to all prime orders $p\le250$, settling the Paley graphs $P_{p}$ with $p\le241$, the first beyond $P_{17}$. What remains is the capture of a single explicit vector: the midpoint $2^{-1}$ of the two basepoints.

$P$-polynomial coherent configurations
Suda introduced the notion of a $Q$-polynomial coherent configuration, which provides a natural and important concept. Subsequently, Lato introduced a notion of a $P$-polynomial coherent configuration and proved that every such configuration satisfying the definition has at most two fibers. Although Lato's definition is interesting, particularly because it characterizes distance-biregular graphs, we argue that an alternative definition is desirable. In this paper, we propose an alternative notion of $P$-polynomial coherent configurations that is naturally aligned with Suda's $Q$-polynomial framework. We show that every two-fiber coherent configuration that is $P$-polynomial in Lato's sense is also $P$-polynomial in our sense, whereas the converse does not hold. We further prove that every coherent configuration of type $(2,2;3)$, $(3,2;3)$ or $(3,3;3)$ is $P$-polynomial in our sense. In addition, we present three families of $P$-polynomial coherent configurations with an arbitrary number of fibers: those arising from tight Euclidean $t$-designs in $\mathbb R^2$, the Terwilliger algebra of $H(n,2)$, and the set of all subspaces of $\mathbb F_q^n$. Finally, we give an equivalent condition for the cross-block intersection matrices to be tridiagonal and verify that all three families satisfy this condition.

Schur rings over cyclic groups having Almost Commutative Terwilliger algebras
Terwilliger algebras are subalgebras of a matrix algebra constructed from an association scheme. Rie Tanaka defined what it means for a Terwilliger algebra to be almost commutative and gave five equivalent conditions in the case where the association scheme is commutative. A sixth condition for a Terwilliger algebra coming from a commutative Schur ring to be almost commutative has since been discovered. In this paper we first provide a classification of orbit Schur rings that produce an almost commutative Terwilliger algebra for a finite cyclic group. In particular, we show that the subgroup of automorphisms used to form the orbit Schur ring is either trivial, or the whole automorphism group when the cyclic group has prime power order. If the cyclic group has order $2^n$, these are the only options. If the cyclic group has order $p^n$, for an odd prime $p$, then the automorphism subgroup of order $p^{n-1}$ also works. If the group has a non-prime power order then the only orbit Schur ring that produces an almost commutative Terwilliger algebra comes from the trivial subgroup of the automorphism group. We then give a condition for when a wedge product of Schur rings produces an almost commutative Terwilliger algebra. This allows us to determine exactly when a Schur ring over a cyclic group produces an almost commutative Terwilliger algebra.

On Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of factorial association schemes II
The Terwilliger algebras of association schemes over an arbitrary field $\mathbb{F}$ were called the Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of association schemes in [10]. In [7], He and Jiang studied the Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of factorial association schemes. In this paper, we continue studying the Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of factorial association schemes. We get all block idempotents of the Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of factorial association schemes. We get the $\mathbb{F}$-dimensions, the centers, the Jacobson radicals of the block algebras of the Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of factorial association schemes.
The Terwilliger algebra for the distance-regular graphs with valency three
In this paper, we discuss a family of highly regular graphs, said to be distance-regular. We are particularly interested in the distance-regular graphs with valency three. It is known that there exist exactly 13 such graphs. Let $Γ$ denote a distance-regular graph with vertex set $X$. For any vertex $x \in X$, the corresponding Terwilliger algebra $T=T(x)$ is generated by the adjacency algebra $M$ of $Γ$ and the dual adjacency algebra $M^*=M^*(x)$ of $Γ$ with respect to $x$. It is known that the algebra $T$ is semisimple. By construction, the vector space $V=\mathbb{C}^X$ is a module for $T$, said to be standard. In this paper we have the following goal. For each of the 13 distance-regular graphs $Γ$ with valency three, we will decompose the standard module $V$ into a direct sum of irreducible $T$-modules. Using this information, we will work out the dimension of $T$.

Every $Q$-polynomial distance-regular graph is sharp over $\mathbb{R}$
Let $Γ$ denote a distance-regular graph with vertex set $X$ and diameter $D \geq 3$. Fix a vertex $x \in X$. Let the field $\mathbb{F}$ be either $\mathbb{R}$ or $\mathbb{C}$. Let $\operatorname{Mat}_X(\mathbb{F})$ denote the $\mathbb{F}$-algebra of matrices whose rows and columns are indexed by $X$ and all entries in $\mathbb{F}$. The Terwilliger algebra $T^\mathbb{F} = T^\mathbb{F}(x)$ is the subalgebra of $\operatorname{Mat}_X(\mathbb{F})$ generated by the adjacency matrix $A$ of $Γ$ and the dual primitive idempotents $\{E_i^*\}_{i=0}^D$ of $Γ$ with respect to $x$. Let $\{E_i\}_{i=0}^D$ denote the primitive idempotents of $A$. Assume that the ordering $\{E_i\}_{i=0}^D$ is $Q$-polynomial. Let $W$ denote an irreducible $T^\mathbb{F}$-module. We say that $W$ is sharp over $\mathbb{F}$ whenever $\dim (E_r^* W) = 1$, where $r$ is the endpoint of $W$. It is known, by Nomura and Terwilliger (2008), that every irreducible $T^\mathbb{C}$-module is sharp. In this paper, we prove that every irreducible $T^\mathbb{R}$-module is sharp. Once this is established, we obtain four additional results: (i) if $W$ is an irreducible $T^\mathbb{R}$-module, then its complexification $W^\mathbb{C}= W \otimes_{\mathbb{R}} \mathbb{C}$ is an irreducible $T^\mathbb{C}$-module; (ii) two irreducible $T^\mathbb{R}$-modules $W_1$ and $W_2$ are isomorphic if and only if their complexifications $W_1^\mathbb{C}$ and $W_2^\mathbb{C}$ are isomorphic as $T^\mathbb{C}$-modules; (iii) if $\bigoplus_{i=1}^h \operatorname{Mat}_{n_i}(\mathbb{C})$ is the Wedderburn decomposition of $T^\mathbb{C}$, then $\bigoplus_{i=1}^h \operatorname{Mat}_{n_i}(\mathbb{R})$ is the Wedderburn decomposition of $T^\mathbb{R}$; (iv) each of the subalgebras $E_1^* T E_1^*$, $E_1 T E_1$, $E_D^* T E_D^*$, and $E_D T E_D$ is commutative and every element of these algebras is a symmetric matrix.

A skew group ring of $\mathbb Z/2\mathbb Z$ over $U(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$, Leonard triples and odd graphs
We employ a skew group ring of $\mathbb Z/2\mathbb Z$ over $U(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$ to construct modules over the universal Bannai--Ito algebra. In addition, we give the conditions under which the defining generators act as Leonard triples on the resulting modules. As a combinatorial realization, we establish an algebra homomorphism from the universal Bannai--Ito algebra onto the Terwilliger algebra of an odd graph. This homomorphism provides a unified description of Leonard triples on all irreducible modules over the Terwilliger algebra.

The complete classification of triply-transitive strongly regular graphs
This paper completes the classification of triply-transitive strongly regular graphs, a program recently initiated by Herman, Maleki, and Razafimahatratra. By proving that the collinearity graph of the polar space $\mathcal{Q}^{-}(5,q)$ and the affine polar graph $\mathrm{VO}^{\varepsilon}_{2m}(2)$ are triply-transitive, we resolve the final open cases in the classification. The result is a definitive list of all strongly regular graphs that exhibit this exceptional form of local symmetry, characterized by the equality $T_{0,ω}=T_ω=\widetilde{T}_ω$ of their Terwilliger algebras.

On Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of factorial association schemes
The Terwilliger algebras of association schemes over an arbitrary field $\mathbb{F}$ were called the Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of association schemes in [9]. In this paper, we study the Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of factorial association schemes. We determine the centers, the semisimplicity, the Jacobson radicals and their nilpotent indices, the Wedderburn-Artin decompositions of the Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of factorial association schemes. Moreover, we determine all Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of factorial association schemes that are the symmetric $\mathbb{F}$-algebras or the Frobenius $\mathbb{F}$-algebras.
On the Terwilliger algebras of quasi-thin Schurian association schemes
We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the Terwilliger algebra of a quasi-thin Schurian association scheme to coincide with: (a) the centralizer algebra of a point stabilizer of its automorphism group, and (b) its subspace $T^0$. As a by-product, a full characterization of triply-transitive quasi-thin association schemes is given. Using the latter, we provide new infinite families of triply-transitive association schemes.

Almost Commutative Terwilliger Algebras I: The Group Association Scheme
Terwilliger algebras are a subalgebra of a matrix algebra constructed from an association scheme. Rie Tanaka defined what it means for a Terwilliger algebra to be almost commutative and gave five equivalent conditions. In this paper we first determine an equivalent sixth condition for a Terwilliger algebra coming from a commutative Schur ring to be almost commutative. We then provide a classification of which finite groups result in an almost commutative Terwilliger algebra when looking at the group association scheme determined by the conjugacy classes. In particular, we show that all such groups are either abelian, or Camina groups. We then compute the dimension of each Terwilliger algebra, and we also express each of the group association schemes with an almost commutative Terwilliger algebra as a wreath product of the group schemes of finite abelian groups and $1-$class association schemes. Furthermore, we give the non-primary primitive idempotents for each Terwilliger algebra for those groups.

Almost Commutative Terwilliger Algebras II: Strong Gelfand Pairs
Terwilliger algebras are a subalgebra of a matrix algebra constructed from an association scheme. In 2010, Tanaka defined what it means for a Terwilliger algebra to be almost commutative and gave five equivalent conditions for a Terwilliger algebra to be almost commutative. In this paper we look at Terwilliger algebras coming from strong Gelfand pairs $(G,H)$ for a finite group $G$. From such a pair, one can create a Terwilliger algebra using the Schur ring of $H-$classes of elements of $G$. We determine all strong Gelfand pairs that give an Almost Commutative Terwilliger algebra.

The nucleus of the Grassmann graph $J_q(N,D)$
Let $\mathbb{F}_q$ denote a finite field with $q$ elements. Let $N$ and $D$ denote integers with $N>D \ge 1$. Let $\mathcal{V}$ denote an $N$-dimensional vector space over $\mathbb{F}_q$. The Grassmann graph $J_q(N,D)$ is the graph with vertex set $X$ that consists of the $D$-dimensional subspaces of $\mathcal{V}$. Two vertices are adjacent whenever their intersection has dimension $D-1$. Fix a vertex $x$ in $X$. The Terwilliger algebra $T=T(x)$ of $J_q(N,D)$ with respect to $x$ is the subalgebra of $\mathrm{Mat}_X(\mathbb{C})$ generated by the adjacency matrix $A$ and the dual adjacency matrix $A^* = A^*(x)$. It is known that an irreducible $T$-module $W$ has certain parameters called the endpoint $r$, the dual endpoint $t$, and the diameter $d$. The displacement of $W$ is defined to be the integer $r+t-D+d$. Let $\mathcal{N}=\mathcal{N}(x)$ denote the span of all irreducible $T$-modules with displacement 0. We call $\mathcal{N}$ the nucleus of $J_q(N,D)$ with respect to $x$. In this paper, we study the structure of $\mathcal{N}$. Specifically, we present a formula for the dimension of $\mathcal{N}$, construct two explicit bases for $\mathcal{N}$, and describe the action of $A$ and $A^*$ on these bases. To obtain these results, we use the projective geometry $P_q(N)$, consisting of all subspaces of $\mathcal{V}$, as a key tool.
On the classification of triply-transitive strongly-regular graphs
Let $Γ= (Ω,E)$ be a strongly-regular graph with adjacency matrix $A_1$, and let $A_2$ be the adjacency matrix of its complement. For any vertex $ω\in Ω$, we define $E_{0,ω}^*$ $E_{1,ω}^*$ and $E_{2,ω}^*$ to be respectively the diagonal matrices whose main diagonal is the row corresponding to $ω$ in the matrices $I, A_1$, and $A_2$. The Terwilliger algebra of $Γ$ with respect to the vertex $ω\in Ω$ is the subalgebra $T_ω= \left\langle I,A_1,A_2,E_{0,ω}^*,E_{1,ω}^*,E_{2,ω}^* \right\rangle$ of the complex matrix algebra $\operatorname{M_{|Ω|}}(\mathbb{C})$. The algebra $T_ω$ contains the subspace $T_{0,ω} = \operatorname{Span}\left\{ E_{i,ω}^*A_jE_{k,ω}^*: 0\leq i,j,k\leq 2 \right\}$. In addition, if $G = \AutΓ$, then $T_ω$ is a subalgebra of the centralizer algebra $\tilde{T}_ω= \End{G_ω}{\mathbb{C}^Ω}$. The strongly-regular graph $Γ=(Ω,E)$ is triply transitive if $Γ$ is vertex transitive and $T_{0,ω} = T_ω= \tilde{T}_ω$, for any $ω\in Ω$. In this paper, we classify all triply transitive strongly-regular graphs that are not isomorphic to the collinearity graph of the polar space $O_{6}^-(q)$, where $q$ is a prime power, or the affine polar graph $\vo_{2m}^\varepsilon(2)$, where $m\geq 1$ and $\varepsilon = \pm 1$.
The Terwilliger algebra of digraphs I -- Hamming digraph $H^*(d,3)$
In the present paper, we define the Terwilliger algebra of digraphs. Then, we determine the irreducible modules of the Terwilliger algebra of a Hamming digraph $H^*(d,3)$. As is well known, the representation of the Terwilliger algebra of a binary Hamming graph $H(d,2)$ is closely related to that of the Lie algebra $\mathit{sl}_2(\mathbb{C})$. We show that in the case of $H^*(d,3)$, it is related to that of the Lie algebra $\mathit{sl}_3(\mathbb{C})$. We also identify the Terwilliger algebra of $H^*(d,3)$ as the $d$ symmetric tensor algebra of ${\rm Mat}_3(\mathbb{C})$.

On Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of direct products of group divisible association schemes
The Terwilliger algebras of association schemes over an arbitrary field $\mathbb{F}$ were briefly called the Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of association schemes in [9]. In this paper, the Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of direct products of group divisible association schemes are studied. The centers, the semisimplicity, the Jacobson radicals and their nilpotent indices, the Wedderburn-Artin decompositions of the Terwilliger $\mathbb{F}$-algebras of direct products of group divisible association schemes are obtained.
On the Terwilliger algebra of the group association scheme of the symmetric group $\operatorname {sym}(7)$
Terwilliger algebras are finite-dimensional semisimple algebras that were first introduced by Paul Terwilliger in 1992 in studies of association schemes and distance-regular graphs. The Terwilliger algebras of the conjugacy class association schemes of the symmetric groups $\operatorname {sym}(n)$, for $3\leq n \leq 6$, have been studied and completely determined. The case for $\operatorname {sym}(7)$ is computationally much more difficult and has a potential application to find the size of the largest permutation codes of $\operatorname {sym}(7)$ with a minimal distance of at least $4$. In this paper, the dimension, the Wedderburn decomposition, and the block dimension decomposition of the Terwilliger algebra of the conjugacy class scheme of the group $\operatorname {sym}(7)$ are determined.

Structure of Terwilliger algebras of quasi-thin association schemes
We show that the Terwilliger algebra of a quasi-thin association scheme over a field is always a quasi-hereditary cellular algebra in the sense of Cline-Parshall-Scott and of Graham-Lehrer, repsectively, and that the basic algebra of the Terwilliger algebra is the dual extension of a star with all arrows pointing to its center if the field has characteristic $2$. Thus many homological and representation-theoretic properties of these Terwilliger algebras can be determined completely. For example, the Nakayama conjecture holds for Terwilliger algebras of quasi-thin association schemes.

Almost Commutative Terwilliger Algebras of Group Association Schemes II: Primitive Idempotents
This paper is a continuation of Almost Commutative Terwilliger Algebras of Group Association Schemes I: Classification [1]. In that paper, we found all groups G for which the Terwilliger algebra of the group association scheme, denoted T (G), is almost commutative. We also found the primitive idempotents for T (G) for three of the four types of such groups. In this paper, we determine the primitive idempotents for the fourth type.
