Generalised flip order on the faces of nestohedra
Classical shuffle products on permutations and binary planar rooted trees (i.e., on the vertices of permutohedra and associahedra) admit descriptions in terms of intervals in the weak Bruhat order and the Tamari order, respectively. Palacios and Ronco extended these products as well as their interval description to surjections and planar rooted trees (i.e. on all faces of permutohedra and associahedra). In this article, we present a broad generalisation of this phenomenon. We show that the shuffle product on faces of certain families of nestohedra admits an interval description with respect to the generalised flip order, a partial order defined on the faces of nestohedra through elementary splitting and fusion operations on the tree-like combinatorial objects encoding them. The generalised flip order extends the flip order of Barnard and McConville from vertices to all faces of nesthedra. We further compare it with the facial weak order of Dermenjian-Hohlweg-Pilaud and the generalised Tamari order of Ronco, and we provide its characterisation in terms of (generalised) inversions.
Tridendriform algebras on hypergraph polytopes, the other way around
Hypergraph polytopes (or nestohedra) form a broad class of polytopes obtained by truncating faces of a simplex according to a hypergraph. In earlier work, the authors constructed q-tridendriform algebras on the set of faces of certain families of hypergraph polytopes, including associahedra and permutohedra. The well-definedness of these structures relied on a connectedness property on the hypergraphs involved, called strictness. Nevertheless, notable examples of hypergraph polytopes such as cyclohedra fell outside this setting. We introduce a new connectedness condition, called anti-strictness, which goes opposite to strictness and captures a different class of hypergraph polytopes, including associahedra, permutohedra and cyclohedra. Our main result produces natural (-1)-tridendriform algebras in the anti-strict framework, which match previously introduced tridendriform algebras in the overlap of the two frameworks, thereby extending the range of hypergraph polytopes admitting such algebraic structures.

Lie-operads and operadic modules from poset cohomology
As observed by Joyal, the cohomology groups of the partition posets are naturally identified with the components of the operad encoding Lie algebras. This connection was explained in terms of operadic Koszul duality by Fresse, and later generalized by Vallette to the setting of decorated partitions. In this article, we set up and study a general formalism which produces a priori operadic structures (operads and operadic modules) on the cohomology of families of posets equipped with some natural recursive structure, that we call "operadic poset species". This framework goes beyond decorated partitions and operadic Koszul duality, and contains the metabelian Lie operad and Kontsevich's operad of trees as two simple instances. In forthcoming work, we will apply our results to the hypertree posets and their connections to post-Lie and pre-Lie algebras.
Cellular diagonals of permutahedra
We provide a systematic enumerative and combinatorial study of geometric cellular diagonals on the permutahedra. In the first part of the paper, we study the combinatorics of certain hyperplane arrangements obtained as the union of $\ell$ generically translated copies of the classical braid arrangement. Based on Zaslavsky's theory, we derive enumerative results on the faces of these arrangements involving combinatorial objects named partition forests and rainbow forests. This yields in particular nice formulas for the number of regions and bounded regions in terms of exponentials of generating functions of Fuss-Catalan numbers. By duality, the specialization of these results to the case $\ell = 2$ gives the enumeration of any geometric diagonal of the permutahedron. In the second part of the paper, we study diagonals which respect the operadic structure on the family of permutahedra. We show that there are exactly two such diagonals, which are moreover isomorphic. We describe their facets by a simple rule on paths in partition trees, and their vertices as pattern-avoiding pairs of permutations. We show that one of these diagonals is a topological enhancement of the Sanbeblidze-Umble diagonal, and unravel a natural lattice structure on their sets of facets. In the third part of the paper, we use the preceding results to show that there are precisely two isomorphic topological cellular operadic structures on the families of operahedra and multiplihedra, and exactly two infinity-isomorphic geometric universal tensor products of homotopy operads and A-infinity morphisms.
Tridendriform algebras on hypergraph polytopes

We extend the works of Loday-Ronco and Burgunder-Ronco on the tridendriform decomposition of the shuffle product on the faces of associahedra and permutohedra, to other families of hypergraph polytopes (or nestohedra), including simplices, hypercubes and some new families. We also extend the shuffle product to take more than two arguments, and define accordingly a new algebraic structure, that we call polydendriform, from which the original tridendriform equations can be crisply synthesized.
Some properties of the parking function poset
Published in Electronic Journal of Combinatorics 29(4) (2022), Article P4.42 • View PublicationBIB
In 1980, Edelman defined a poset on objects called the noncrossing 2-partitions. They are closely related with noncrossing partitions and parking functions. To some extent, his definition is a precursor of the parking space theory, in the framework of finite reflection groups. We present some enumerative and topological properties of this poset. In particular, we get a formula counting certain chains, that encompasses formulas for Whitney numbers (of both kinds). We prove shellability of the poset, and compute its homology as a representation of the symmetric group. We moreover link it with two well-known polytopes : the associahedron and the permutohedron.
Non-ambiguous trees: new results and generalisation (Full version)

We present a new definition of non-ambiguous trees (NATs) as labelled binary trees. We thus get a differential equation whose solution can be described combinatorially. This yields a new formula for the number of NATs. We also obtain q-versions of our formula. We finally generalise NATs to higher dimension.

Confluence laws and Hopf-Borel type theorem for operads
In 2008, Loday shed light on the existence of Hopf-Boreltheorems for operads. Using the vocabulary of category theory, Livernet,Mesablishvili and Wisbauer extended such theorems to monads. In bothcases, the reasoning was to start from a mixed distributive law andthen to prove that it induces an isomorphism of species to finally geta rigidity theorem. Our reasoning goes here backward: we prove thatfrom an isomorphism of species one can get what we called a confluencelaw, which generalises mixed distributive laws, and that it is enough toobtain a rigidity theorem. This enables us to show that for any operadsP and Q having the same underlying S-module, there exists a confluencelaw $α$ such that any conilpotent P coQ-bialgebra satisfying $α$ is free andcofree over its primitive elements. Our reasoning permits us to generatemany new examples, while recovering the known ones by consideringdual relations.

Semi-pointed partition posets and Species
Published • View PublicationBIB
We define semi-pointed partition posets, which are a generalisation of partition posets and show that they are Cohen-Macaulay. We then use multichains to compute the dimension and the character for the action of the symmetric groups on their homology. We finally study the associated incidence Hopf algebra, which is similar to the Fa{à} di Bruno Hopf algebra.
