Strong non-principality of positive codegree Turán density
The \emph{minimum positive codegree} $δ^+_{k-1}(G)$ of a $k$-graph $G$ is the minimum, over all $(k-1)$-sets that lie in at least one edge, of the number of edges containing that set. The \emph{positive codegree Turán density} of a $k$-graph family $\mathcal{F}$ is the asymptotically maximum value of $δ^+_{k-1}(G)/n$ over all $\mathcal{F}$-free $k$-graphs $G$ with $n\to\infty$ vertices. In this note, we establish a strong version of non-principality with respect to this density by proving that for every $k\ge3$ there exist two $k$-graphs $F_1$ and $F_2$ such that $$ 0<γ^+(F_1, F_2) < \min\{γ^+(F_1), γ^+(F_2)\}. $$

On problems of Erdős and Baumann-Briggs on minimising the density of $s$-cliques in graphs with forbidden subgraphs
Using flag algebras, we prove that the minimum density of $8$-cliques in a large graph without an independent set of size $3$ is $491411/268435456+o(1)$, thus resolving a new case of an old problem of Erdős [Magyar Tud. Akad. Mat. Kutató Int. Közl. 7 (1962) 459-464]. Also, we establish some other results of this type; for example, we show that the minimum $s$-clique density in a large graph with no independent set of size 3 nor an induced 5-cycle is $2^{1-s}+o(1)$ when $s=4,5,6$. For each of these results, we also describe the structure of all extremal and almost extremal graphs of large order $n$. These results are applied to give an asymptotic solution to a number of cases of the problem of Baumann and Briggs [Electronic J Comb 32 (2025) P1.22] which asks for the minimum number of $s$-cliques in an $n$-vertex graph in which every $k$-set spans a $t$-clique.

FlagAlgebraToolbox: Flag Algebra Computations in SageMath
We introduce FlagAlgebraToolbox, an extension of SageMath capable of automating flag algebra calculations and optimizations. FlagAlgebraToolbox has a simple interface, can handle a wide range of combinatorial theories, can numerically optimize extremal combinatorial problems and round the results to produce exact proofs. We present the core concepts used in the toolbox, with example workflows.
Tetrahedron Conjecture in the $\ell_2$-norm
The famous Tetrahedron Conjecture of Turán from the 1940s asserts that the number of edges in an $n$-vertex $3$-graph without the tetrahedron, the complete $3$-graph on four vertices, cannot exceed that of the balanced complete cyclic $3$-partite $3$-graph, whose edges are of types $V_1 V_2 V_3$, $V_1 V_1 V_2$, $V_2 V_2 V_3$, and $V_3 V_3 V_1$. A recent surprising result of Balogh-Clemen-Lidický [J. Lond. Math. Soc. (2) 106 (2022)] shows that this conjecture is asymptotically true in the $\ell_2$-norm, where the number of edges is replaced by the sum of squared codegrees. They further conjectured that, in this $\ell_2$-norm setting, the $3$-partite construction is uniquely extremal for large $n$. We confirm this conjecture. Two key ingredients in our proofs include establishing a Mantel theorem for vertex-colored graphs that forbid certain types of triangles, and introducing a novel procedure integrated into Simonovits' stability method, which essentially reduces the task to verifying that the $\ell_2$-norm of certain near-extremal constructions increases under suitable local modifications. The strategy in the latter may be of independent interest and potentially applicable to other extremal problems.

Semi-inducibility of 4-vertex graphs
For a graph $H$ whose edges are coloured blue or red, the $H$-semi-inducibility problem asks for the maximum, over all graphs $G$ of given order $n$, of the number of injections from the vertex set of $H$ into the vertex set of $G$ that send red (resp. blue) edges of $H$ to edges (resp. non-edges) of $G$. We consider all possible 4-vertex non-complete graphs $H$ and essentially resolve all remaining cases except when $H$ is the 3-edge path coloured blue-blue-red in this order (or is equivalent to this case). Some of our proofs are computer-generated, using the flag algebra method of Razborov.

Some exact inducibility-type results for graphs via flag algebras
The $(κ,\ell)$-edge-inducibility problem asks for the maximum number of $κ$-subsets inducing exactly $\ell$ edges that a graph of given order $n$ can have. Using flag algebras and stability approach, we resolve this problem for all sufficiently large $n$ (including a description of all extremal and almost extremal graphs) in eleven new non-trivial cases when $κ\le 7$. We also compute the $F$-inducibility constant (the asymptotically maximum density of induced copies of $F$ in a graph of given order $n$) and obtain some corresponding structure results for three new graphs $F$ with $5$ vertices: the 3-edge star plus an isolated vertex, the 4-cycle plus an isolated vertex, and the 4-cycle with a pendant edge.
Turán density of tight cycles minus one edge in the $\ell_2$-norm
The $3$-uniform tight $\ell$-cycle minus one edge $C_{\ell}^{3-}$ is the $3$-graph on $\ell$ vertices consisting of $\ell-1$ consecutive triples in the cyclic order. We show that for every integer $\ell \ge 5$ satisfying $\ell\not\equiv 0\pmod3$, every $C_{\ell}^{3-}$-free $3$-graph whose $\ell_2$-norm, that is, the sum of codegree squares, is close to the maximum must be structurally close to the iterative blowup of a single triple. This confirms a conjecture of Balogh--Clemen--Lidický~[Surveys in combinatorics 2022, 21-63] in a stronger form.
The Turán density of short tight cycles
The $3$-uniform tight $\ell$-cycle $C_\ell^{3}$ is the $3$-graph on $\{1,\dots,\ell\}$ consisting of all $\ell$ consecutive triples in the cyclic order. Let $\mathcal{C}$ be either the pair $\{C_{4}^{3}, C_{5}^{3}\}$ or the single tight $\ell$-cycle $C_{\ell}^{3}$ for some $\ell\ge 7$ not divisible by $3$. We show that the Turán density of $\mathcal{C}$, that is, the asymptotically maximal edge density of a large $\mathcal{C}$-free $3$-graph, is equal to $2\sqrt{3} - 3$. We also establish the corresponding Erdős-Simonovits-type stability result, informally stating that all almost maximum $\mathcal{C}$-free graphs are close in the edit distance to a 2-part recursive construction. This extends the earlier analogous results of Kamčev-Letzter-Pokrovskiy ["The Turán density of tight cycles in three-uniform hypergraphs", Int. Math. Res. Not. 6 (2024), 4804-4841] that apply for sufficiently large $\ell$ only. Additionally, we prove a finer structural result that allows us to determine the maximum number of edges in a $\{C_{4}^{3}, C_{5}^{3}\}$-free $3$-graph with a given number of vertices up to an additive $O(1)$ error term.

Some exact values of the inducibility and statistics constants for hypercubes
We consider two types of problems: maximising, over subsets $S\subseteq \{0,1\}^n$, the density of $d$-subcubes $C$ in the $n$-hypercube graph that span a subgraph such that $S\cap C$ is i) isomorphic to the given configuration $H\subseteq\{0,1\}^d$ (the inducibility problem), or ii) has the given size $s$ (the statistics problem). Using flag algebras, we determine the limit of this density as $n\to\infty$ for 5 new configurations $H\subseteq\{0,1\}^3$ and for 3 new pairs $(d,s)$, namely for $(3,2)$, $(4,2)$ and $(4,4)$. Interestingly, the lower bounds in the last three cases come from blowups of small Hamming codes.

The Turán density of the tight 5-cycle minus one edge
Let the tight $\ell$-cycle minus one edge $C_\ell^{3-}$ be the $3$-graph on $\{1,\dots,\ell\}$ consisting of $\ell-1$ consecutive triples in the cyclic order. We show that, for every $\ell\ge 5$ not divisible by $3$, the Turán density of $C_{\ell}^{3-}$ is $1/4$ and also prove some finer structure results. This proves a conjecture of Mubayi--Sudakov--Pikhurko from 2011 and extends the results of Balogh--Luo [Combinatorica 44 (2024) 949--976] who established analogous claims for all sufficiently large $\ell$. Results similar to ours were independently obtained by Lidický--Mattes--Pfender [arXiv:2409.14257].

Generalized Turán problem for Complete Hypergraphs
Write $K^{(k)}_{n}$ for the complete $k$-graph on $n$ vertices. For $2 \leq k \leq g < r$ integers, let $π\left(n, K^{(k)}_{g}, K^{(k)}_r\right)$ be the maximum density of $K^{(k)}_{g}$ in $n$ vertex $K^{(k)}_{r}$-free $k$-graphs. The main contribution of this paper is the upper bound: $π\left(n, K^{(k)}_{g}, K^{(k)}_r\right) \leq \left(1 + O\left(n^{-1}\right) \right)\prod_{m=k}^{g} \left(1 - \frac{\binom{m-1}{k-1}}{\binom{r-1}{k-1}} \right).$ The graph case ($k=2$) is the first known generalized Turán question, investigated by Erdős. The $k=g$ case is the hypergraph Turán problem where the best known general upper bound is by de Caen. The result proved here matches both bounds asymptotically, while any triple $k, g, r$ with $2 < k < g < r$ provides a new upper bound. The proof uses techniques from the theory of flag algebras to derive linear relations between different densities. These relations can be combined with linear algebraic methods. Additionally a simple flag algebraic certificate will be given for $\lim_{n \rightarrow \infty} π\left(n, K^{(3)}_4, K^{(3)}_5 \right) = 3/8$.
