Braces on the cohomology of noncrossing 2-partitions

Explicit description of certain 3-point K-theoretic Gromov-Witten invariants for flag manifolds
We give an explicit description, in terms of the quantum Bruhat graph, of the (torus-equivariant) 3-point, genus 0, $K$-theoretic Gromov-Witten invariants $\langle \mathcal{O}(- λ), \mathcal{O}^{w}, \mathcal{O}_{u} \rangle_{d}$ for the (full) flag manifold $X = G/B$, where $\mathcal{O}(- λ)$ denotes the class in the (torus-equivariant) $K$-theory ring $K_{T}(X)$ of $X$ of the line bundle $\mathcal{O}_{X}(- λ) = G \times_{B} \mathbb{C}_λ$ over $X = G/B$ associated to a weight $λ\in W \varpi_i$ lying in the Weyl group orbit of a minuscule fundamental weight $\varpi_i$, and $\mathcal{O}_{u}$, $\mathcal{O}^{w}$ are the Schubert and opposite Schubert classes in $K_{T}(X)$ for $u, w \in W$. This result can be thought of as a partial generalization of the quantum $K$-theoretic divisor axiom, which we obtained in our previous work; our proof utilizes a generalization of the Chevalley formula in the (torus-equivariant) quantum $K$-theory ring $QK_{T}(X)$ of $X$, which computes the quantum product with the line bundle class $\mathcal{O}(- λ)$ associated to the weight $λ$ above.
Higher-Dimensional Symbolic Dynamics: A Textile Framework For 3-graphs
Textile systems are best known to model two-dimensional shifts of finite type. In this article, we associate a discrete algebra with a textile system and provide a groupoid model for it. When the textile system is left-resolving, this algebra coincides with the Kumjian--Pask algebra of the associated $2$-graph. The main objective of this paper is to extend textile systems to dimension $3$ so that the resulting structures can, on the one hand, capture all three-dimensional shifts of finite type and, on the other hand, provide a textile-like framework for $3$-graphs extending the well-known connection between $2$-graphs and left-resolving textile systems. We introduce a model of a three-dimensional textile system and investigate the interplay between such textile systems and $3$-graphs. In particular, our investigation shows that the conditions required to form a $3$-graph from a $3$-colored graph (including the delicate associativity condition on tricolored paths), can be encoded in terms of simple pullback diagrams arising from the textile data. We also define homology groups for three-dimensional textiles and prove that these groups coincide with the homology groups of the associated $3$-graphs, thus establishing that our construction is homologically consistent with $3$-graphs.

A Riemann-Roch theorem for Frobenius quotients
We construct two families of commutative Frobenius rings: discrete and continuous Frobenius quotients $K_f$, resp. $A_g$, which are defined as the quotients of shift, resp. differential operator algebras by the annihilator of a polynomial. These constructions model the numerical $K$-rings and Chow rings of smooth complete varieties. We show that there is a naturally defined isomorphism $\mathbb{Q} K_f \cong \mathbb{Q} A_g$ playing the role of the Chern character, precisely when the polynomials satisfy a combinatorial analogue of the Hirzebruch-Riemann-Roch theorem, which states that there exists an invertible element $\mathrm{td} \in \mathbb{Q} A_g^\times$, called the Todd class, such that $f = \mathrm{td} \cdot g$. In this case we show that $K_f$ carries all the structure needed to make it a suitable model for $K$-rings of complete smooth varieties: $K_f$ is a $λ$-ring, has well-defined Chern classes, determinants, and satisfies a combinatorial analogue of Serre duality. We further show that the construction is functorial and obtain a combinatorial analogue of the Grothendieck-Riemann-Roch theorem. Lastly, we investigate the existence of larger families of isomorphisms between Frobenius quotients defined by the action of a power series on a generating set, such as the truncated Chern character which yields an integral isomorphism $K_f \cong A_g$. We provide numerous examples and applications: we give a new formula for computing Snapper polynomials of matroids, show that the dualizing class of $K_f$ coincides with dualizing classes of matroids and linear families of polytopes, realize $K$-rings of toric variety bundles as Frobenius quotients, and study $K$-rings of Ehrhart fans as well as exceptional isomorphisms in this setting.

Polyhedral models for K-theory of toric and flag varieties
In 1992, Pukhlikov and Khovanskii provided a description of the cohomology ring of toric variety as a quotient of the ring of differential operators on spaces of virtual polytopes. Later Kaveh generalized this construction to the case of cohomology rings for full flag varieties. In this paper we extend Pukhlikov-Khovanskii type presentation to the case of K-theory of toric and flag varieties. First, we study the Frobenius algebras obtained as quotients of the group algebra of free abelian group (possibly of infinite rank). Then we apply this construction to define a K-ring associated to a linear family of (virtual) polytopes. We study in detail two examples of such families: the family of integer (virtual) polytopes with a fixed normal fan and the family of (virtual) Gelfand-Zetlin polytopes. We show that the K-theory of toric and flag varieties can be realized as K-rings of the above families and use this to get natural set of relations in the above K-rings. Further, we describe the classes of structure sheaves of toric orbit closures and Schubert varieties in type A flag varieties. Finally, we show that our results also hold true in T-equivariant setting.
Neutral-Fermion constructions of factorial $gp$-and $gq$-Functions
We develop neutral-fermionic constructions for the factorial $gp$- and $gq$-functions introduced by Nakagawa and Naruse, which are respectively dual to the factorial $GQ$- and $GP$-functions of Ikeda and Naruse. In particular, we realize the factorial $GP$-, $GQ$- and $gq$-functions as vacuum expectation values. As applications, we obtain, Jacobi--Trudi type determinantal formulas for the transition coefficients between functions with different equivariant parameters for $gq$ and its dual $GP$, as well as a Pfaffian formula for the factorial $gq$-functions. We further prove a remarkable coincidence among the transition coefficients for parameter changes for $gp$, $gq$, $GQ$, and $GP$. These coefficients admit a description in terms of factorial Grothendieck polynomials of type A.

On the K-theory of matroids with Tutte coverings
The aim of this work is to explicitly compute the K-theory of the category of matroids with respect to the covering family of Tutte coverings. In particular, we show that this is equivalent to the K-theory spectrum of the category of graphic matroids on looped forests, with the covering family generated by isomorphisms. Further, we show that this yields an equivalence of $C_2$-spectra.
