Lattices from Pointed Building Sets: Generalized Ornamentation Lattices
We introduce a novel combinatorial structure called pointed building sets, which can be viewed as families of lattices equipped with compatibility relations. To each pointed building set $\mathsf{B}$, we associate a complete lattice $\mathcal{O}(\mathsf{B})$, called the ornamentation lattice of $\mathsf{B}$. Special cases of this construction have already proven useful in understanding the structure of three families of posets: operahedron lattices, the affine Tamari lattice, and hypergraphic posets of subhypergraphs of the path hypergraph of an increasing tree. The goal of this paper is to establish the theory of these generalized ornamentations. We examine several natural classes of pointed building sets which recover classical lattices such as the Tamari lattice, the lattice of topologies ordered by coarsening, and the lattice of naturally labeled partial orders. Furthermore, several theoretical directions are explored, including inverse limits and group actions. Notably, this leads to a straightforward construction of inverse limits of Tamari lattices, yielding infinite analogs of the Tamari lattice.
A matrix approach to the structure, enumeration, and applications of partially ordered sets
We present a matrix-theoretic approach for studying and enumerating finite posets through their incidence representations, referred to as poset matrices. Naturally labelled posets are encoded as Boolean lower triangular matrices, allowing a unified treatment of Birkhoff problem on non-isomorphic posets and Dedekind problem on antichains. A key idea is a systematic construction and indexing of poset matrices as principal submatrices of the binary Pascal matrix, leading to new structural insights through permutation similarity and domination relations. This approach provides a consistent matrix-based perspective on classical enumeration problems in poset theory.

Dyck Paths, Configuration Spaces and Polytopes For Linear Nakayama algebras
We present a combinatorial model of configuration spaces and polytopes associated to the quotients of $\mathbb{C} A_n$, the path algebra of the linearly oriented $A_n$ quiver, i.e. the algebra of upper triangular matrices. These quotient algebras are known as linear Nakayama algebras. Such configuration spaces were recently introduced for more general algebras by the second author and collaborators. In this special setting, we provide elementary proofs and explicit combinatorial constructions. From a Dyck path we define three related objects: a finite-dimensional algebra, an affine algebraic variety, and a polytope. Moreover, our constructions are natural: each relation in the poset of Dyck paths gives a morphism between the corresponding objects.

Triangle equivalences between Gorenstein tiled orders and incidence algebras of posets
We prove that for any $\mathbb{N}$-graded Gorenstein tiled order $A$, the stable category $\underline{\mathrm{CM}}^{\mathbb{Z}}A$ is triangle equivalent to the perfect derived category of the incidence algebra of a finite poset $\mathbb{V}_A^{op}$. Moreover, for a finite poset $P$, we prove that the incidence algebra of $P$ can be realized as the endomorphism algebra of a standard tilting object if and only if $P$ is either empty or has the maximum. We also study the behaviors of the corresponding poset under graded Morita equivalences and coverings of a Gorenstein tiled order. Finally, we classify Gorenstein tiled orders $A$ satisfying $|\mathbb{V}_A^{op}|\leq 3$.
Poset Partitions and the Combinatorics of the $\textbf{cd}$-Index
We introduce a new class of Eulerian posets, called S-partitionable posets, which have a non-negative cd-index. These posets are a generalization of S-shellable complexes introduced by Stanley in 1994. We prove that S-partitionable posets have a non-negative cd-index via a recursive formula. Then, we introduce a semi-Eulerian version of S-partitionable posets, which we call SE-partitionable posets. We show that SE-partitionable posets also have a non-negative semi-Eulerian cd-index as defined by Juhnke-Kubitzke, Samper and Venturello in 2024.
Boolean lattice without small rainbow subposets
A Boolean lattice $\mathcal{B}_n=(2^X, \leq)$ is the power set of an $n$-element ground set $X$ equipped with inclusion relation. For two posets $\mathcal{P}$ and $\mathcal{Q}$, we say that $\mathcal{Q}$ contains an \emph{induced copy} of $\mathcal{P}$ if there exists an injection $f : \mathcal{P} \to \mathcal{Q}$ such that $f(X) \le f(Y)$ if and only if $X \le Y$ in $\mathcal{P}$. A $k$-coloring is exact if all colors are used at least once. For posets $\mathcal{Q}$ and $\mathcal{P}$, the \emph{Boolean Gallai-Ramsey number} $\operatorname{GR}_{k}(\mathcal{Q}:\mathcal{P})$ is defined as the smallest $n$ such that any exact $k$-coloring of the sets in $\mathcal{B}_n$ contains either a rainbow induced copy of $\mathcal{Q}$ or a monochromatic induced copy of $\mathcal{P}$ and the \emph{Boolean rainbow Ramsey number} $\operatorname{RR}(\mathcal{Q}:\mathcal{P})$ is defined as the smallest $n$ such that any coloring of the sets in $\mathcal{B}_n$ contains either a rainbow induced copy of $\mathcal{Q}$ or a monochromatic induced copy of $\mathcal{P}$. In this paper, we first study the structural properties of exact $k$-colorings of the sets in Boolean lattice without rainbow induced copy of small posets. As the application of these results, we give exact values and some bounds of Boolean Gallai-Ramsey numbers and Boolean rainbow Ramsey numbers, which improve a result of Chen, Cheng, Li, and Liu in 2020 and give an answer of a question proposed by Chang, Gerbner, Li, Methuku, Nagy, Patkós, and Vizer in 2022.

Multisets of finite intervals and a universal category of poset representations
For any finite totally ordered set, the multisets of intervals form an abelian category. Various classes of subcategories admit natural combinatorial descriptions, and counting them yields familiar integer sequences. Surprisingly, in some cases new integer sequences arise. The formulation of this counting problem leads to a universal construction which assigns to any poset a finitely cocomplete additive category; it is abelian when the poset is finite and does not depend on the choice of any ring of coefficients. For a general poset the universal category of representations is abelian if and only if for the lattice of ideals the meet of two compact elements is again compact.

Poset modules of the $0$-Hecke algebras of type $B$
In 2001, Chow developed the theory of the $B_n$ posets $P$ and the type $B$ $P$-partition enumerators $K^B_P$. To provide a representation-theoretic interpretation of $K^B_P$, we define the poset modules $M^B_P$ of the 0-Hecke algebra $H_n^B(0)$ of type $B$ by endowing the set of type-$B$ linear extensions of $P$ with an $H_n^B(0)$-action. We then show that the Grothendieck group of the category associated to type-$B$ poset modules is isomorphic to the space of type $B$ quasisymmetric functions as both a $\mathrm{QSym}$-module and comodule, where $\mathrm{QSym}$ denotes the Hopf algebra of quasisymmetric functions. Considering an equivalence relation on $B_n$ posets, where two posets are equivalent if they share the same set of type-$B$ linear extensions, we identify a natural representative of each equivalence class, which we call a distinguished poset. We further characterize the distinguished posets whose sets of type-$B$ linear extensions form intervals in the right weak Bruhat order on the the hyperoctahedral groups. Finally, we discuss the relationship among the categories associated to type-$B$ weak Bruhat interval modules, $B_n$ poset modules, and finite-dimensional $H_n^B(0)$-modules.

Intersection statistics for antichains in minuscule posets
For a finite poset $P$, we study the expected size of the intersection of two independent uniformly random antichains. Equivalently, we evaluate the sum of $|A\cap A'|$ over all ordered pairs of antichains. For general posets this statistic appears to have little structure, but for the classical minuscule posets with uniform combinatorial models it admits closed-form expressions. Though the proofs are elementary and combinatorial, the resulting formulas admit a natural interpretation in terms of weight diagrams of minuscule representations.

Torsion Obstruction for Conclusive Posets
We give a counterexample to a conjecture made by Cigler, Jerman and Wojciechowski stating that all posets are conclusive. We also provide combinatorial characterizations for conclusiveness of finite posets and the existence of outer derivations.
Linear extensions and directed clique counts via modular partitions
Counting linear extensions is a fundamental problem in poset theory. It is known to be #P-complete, with polynomial-time formulas available in special cases. In this work, we develop new recursive formulas for counting linear extensions of posets whose modular partitions have particular structure. Specifically, we focus on posets whose incomparability graph has a modular partition with a skeleton that is a tree, a necklace of cliques, or a combination of both. The proofs are constructive and allow for the explicit generation of all linear extensions. We also discuss equivalent formulations of the problem in terms of permutations and directed graphs. The directed graph perspective is related to counting directed simplices in the directed flag complex of a digraph, with applications to understanding higher-order structure in neural circuits.

We show that it is not true that every countable infinite strongly dense poset has the splitting property, so answering a question of R. Ahlswede, P.L. Erdös and N. Graham.
On the number of antichains in $\{0,1,2\}^n$
We provide precise asymptotics for the number of antichains in the poset $\{0,1,2\}^n$, answering a question of Sapozhenko. Finding improved estimates for this number was also a problem suggested by Noel, Scott, and Sudakov, who obtained asymptotics for the logarithm of the number. Key ingredients for the proof include a graph-container lemma to bound the number of expanding sets in a class of irregular graphs, isoperimetric inequalities for generalizations of the Boolean lattice, and methods from statistical physics based on the cluster expansion.
Bruhat intervals that are large hypercubes
We study the question of finding big Bruhat intervals that are poset hypercubes in the symmetric group $S_n$. Using permutations suggested by AlphaEvolve (an evolutionary coding agent developed by Google DeepMind), we were led to an unusual situation in which the agent produced a pattern which performed well for the $n$ tested, and which we show works well for general $n$. When $n$ is a power of 2 we exhibit a hypercube of dimension $O(n\log n)$, matching the largest possible dimension up to a constant multiple. Furthermore, we give an exact characterization of the vertices of this hypercube: they are precisely the \emph{dyadically well-distributed} permutations -- a simple digitwise property that already appeared in connection with Monte Carlo integration and mathematical finance. The maximal dimension of a Bruhat interval that is an hypercube in $S_n$ gives a lower bound (and possibly is equal to) the maximal possible coefficient of the second-highest degree term in the Kazhdan--Lusztig $R$-polynomial in $S_n$. As a surprising consequence, we obtain a new lower bound of order $n\log n$ for the maximal number of frozen variables appearing in the cluster algebras attached to the open Richardson varieties in $S_n$, and a similar result for moduli spaces of embeddings of Bruhat graphs.

Existence of Kähler algebras with Chow polynomials as Hilbert series
In this article, we study Chow polynomials of weakly ranked posets and prove the existence of Gorenstein algebras with the Kähler package such that their Hilbert--Poincaré series agrees with the Chow polynomial. Our statement provides evidence in support of a conjecture by Ferroni, Matherne and the second author about the existence of an algebra for every weakly ranked poset that generalizes the Feichtner--Yuzvinsky Chow ring for matroids. This allows us to prove strong inequalities for the coefficients of Chow polynomials; we prove log-concavity for all posets of weak rank at most six and provide counterexamples to log-concavity for any higher rank. For ranked posets we recover an even stronger condition, showing that the differences between consecutive coefficients constitute a pure O-sequence.

Connectivity of $p$-subgroup posets with irreducible characters
Let $G$ be a finite group. For a prime $p$ and an integer $e \geq 0$, we denote by $Γ_{p,e}(G)$ the set of all pairs $(H, \varphi)$, where $H$ is a $p$-subgroup of $G$ of order greater than $p^e$ and $\varphi$ is a complex irreducible character of $H$. In this paper, we investigate the connected components of the poset $Γ_{p,e}(G)$. For the case $e = 0$, we prove that $Γ_{p,0}(G)$ is disconnected if and only if either $G$ has a strongly $p$-embedded subgroup, or every Sylow $p$-subgroup of $G$ contains a unique subgroup of order $p$. Furthermore, for $e = 1$ and $G$ a $p$-group, we show that the number of connected components of $Γ_{p,1}(G)$ equals the order of the intersection of all subgroups of $G$ of order $p^2$.

A Proof of a conjecture of Watanabe--Yoshida via Ehrhart Theory
In 2005, Watanabe and Yoshida formulated a conjecture for a lower bound of the Hilbert-Kunz multiplicity of local rings that was recently settled by Meng using analytic methods. More recently, Pak-Shapiro-Smirnov-Yoshida used Ehrhart theory to compute explicitly the multiplicity and reduced the conjecture to showing an inequality of the values of the Ehrhart polynomial of a zigzag poset shifted to $t - 1/2$. We completely realize their approach to give another proof of this Watanabe--Yoshida conjecture. The main ingredient of the proof relies on a new explicit combinatorial formula for the coefficients of this shifted Ehrhart polynomial. In terms of the generating function of the shifted polynomial, this formula manifests itself as a Hadamard product of the exponential generating function of Euler numbers and an explicit algebraic function.

Framing Lattices and Flow Polytopes
Flow polytopes of acyclic oriented graphs arise naturally in combinatorial optimization, and the study of their volumes and triangulations has revealed intriguing connections across combinatorics, geometry, algebra, and representation theory. In this work, we introduce the framing lattice associated with a framed graph, whose Hasse diagram is dual to a framed triangulation of the corresponding flow polytope. Framing lattices are remarkable in that they provide a unifying framework encompassing many classical and well-studied lattice structures, including the Boolean lattice, the Tamari lattice, and the weak order on permutations. They further subsume a broad array of examples such as all type-A Cambrian lattices, the Grassmann and grid-Tamari lattices, the alt-$ν$-Tamari and cross-Tamari lattices, the permutree lattices, and the $τ$-tilting posets of certain gentle algebras. We show, among several foundational structural properties, that the framing lattice is a semidistributive, congruence uniform, and polygonal lattice, with its polygons consisting of squares, pentagons, and hexagons. We study its connections to noncrossing partitions via Reading's core label orders, simple representations of its join and meet irreducible elements, and several of its lattice congruences and quotients induced by a graph operation called an M-move.

A matrix approach to the enumeration of naturally labeled posets
We propose a matrix approach for enumerating naturally labeled posets by representing each poset $P$ on $[n]$ as a Boolean poset matrix $A$. This algebraic representation enables a systematic handling of partial orderings through $v$-extensions of the form $A^v=\bigl[\begin{smallmatrix}A&0\\ v&1\end{smallmatrix}\bigr]$. We show that $A^v$ defines a valid poset matrix if and only if the Boolean vector $v$ represents an order ideal of the poset $P$ associated to $A$, equivalently satisfying the fixed-point equation $vA=v$. Furthermore, we explore the twin-class decomposition of $A$, which partitions the elements of $P$ according to identical down- and up-sets. Finally, we present an algorithmic generation scheme for the posets based on the topological growth of their distribution lattices, offering a new approach to constructive enumeration of poset families.
