We prove that, if $Γ$ is a finite connected cubic vertex-transitive graph, then either there exists a semiregular automorphism of $Γ$ of order at least $6$, or the number of vertices of $Γ$ is bounded above by an absolute constant.
Rainbow Hamilton cycle in hypergraph system

In this paper, we develop a new rainbow Hamilton framework, which is of independent interest, settling the problem proposed by Gupta, Hamann, Müyesser, Parczyk, and Sgueglia when $k=3$, and draw the general conclusion for any $k\geq3$ as follows. A $k$-graph system $\textbf{H}=\{H_i\}_{i\in[n]}$ is a family of not necessarily distinct $k$-graphs on the same $n$-vertex set $V$, moreover, a $k$-graph $H$ on $V$ is rainbow if $E(H)\subseteq \bigcup_{i\in[n]}E(H_i)$ and $|E(H)\cap E(H_i)|\leq1$ for $i\in[n]$. We show that given $γ> 0$, sufficiently large $n$ and an $n$-vertex $k$-graph system $\textbf{H}=\{H_i\}_{i\in[n]}$ , if $δ_{k-2}(H_i)\geq(5/9+γ)\binom{n}{2}$ for $i\in[n]$ where $k\geq3$, then there exists a rainbow tight Hamilton cycle. This result implies the conclusion in a single graph, which was proved by Lang and Sanhueza-Matamala [$J. Lond. Math. Soc., 2022$], Polcyn, Reiher, Rödl and Schülke [$J. Combin. Theory \ Ser. B, 2021$] independently.

Noga Alon and Yaakov Malinovsky recently studied the following game: you start at 0, and keep rolling a fair standard die, and add the outcomes until the sum happens to be prime. We generalize this in several ways, illustrating the power of symbolic, rather than merely numeric, computation. We conclude with polemics why the beautiful rigorous error estimate of Alon and Malinovsky is only of theoretical interest, explaining why we were content, in our numerous extensions, with non-rigorous, but practically-certain, estimates.
Generating functions of dual $K$-theoretic $P$- and $Q$-functions and boson-fermion correspondence

In this paper, we present a new algebraic description of Ikeda-Naruse's $K$-theoretic Schur $P$- and $Q$-functions and their dual functions in terms of neutral fermion operators. We introduce four families of ``$β$-deformed neutral-fermion operators'' depending on a parameter $β$, which reduce to the usual neutral-fermion operators when $β$ is zero. Using these operators, we introduce two families of $β$-deformed vertex operators, power sums, and boson-fermion correspondences. From commutation relations among these operators, we naturally derive the $K$-theoretic Cauchy kernel of Nakagawa-Naruse. Exploiting this fact, we show that the four $K$-theoretic functions can be realized as vacuum expectation values of certain $β$-deformed fermionic operators. This presentation also allows us to derive generating functions for the dual $K$-theoretic $P$-and $Q$-functions, as conjectured by Nakagawa-Naruse.

Let $G$ be a linear semisimple algebraic group and $B$ its Borel subgroup. Let $\mathbb{T}\subset B$ be the maximal torus. We study the inductive construction of Bott-Samelson varieties to obtain recursive formulas for the twisted motivic Chern classes of Schubert cells in $G/B$. To this end we introduce two families of operators acting on the equivariant K-theory $K_\mathbb{T}(G/B)[y]$, the right and left Demazure-Lusztig operators depending on a parameter. The twisted motivic Chern classes coincide (up to normalization) with the K-theoretic stable envelopes. Our results imply wall-crossing formulas for a change of the weight chamber and slope parameters. The right and left operators generate a twisted double Hecke algebra. We show that in the type $A$ this algebra acts on the Laurent polynomials. This action is a natural lift of the action on $K_\mathbb{T}(G/B)[y]$ with respect to the Kirwan map. We show that the left and right twisted Demazure-Lusztig operators provide a recursion for twisted motivic Chern classes of matrix Schubert varieties.

We initiate the study of convex geometry over ordered hyperfields. We define convex sets and halfspaces over ordered hyperfields, presenting structure theorems over hyperfields arising as quotients of fields. We prove hyperfield analogues of Helly, Radon and Carathéodory theorems. We also show that arbitrary convex sets can be separated via hemispaces. Comparing with classical convexity, we begin classifying hyperfields for which halfspace separation holds. In the process, we demonstrate many properties of ordered hyperfields, including a classification of stringent ordered hyperfields.

Let $G$ be a graph with vertex set $V(G)$ and edge set $E(G)$. An edge subset $F\subseteq E(G)$ is called a restricted edge-cut if $G-F$ is disconnected and has no isolated vertices. The restricted edge-connectivity $λ'(G)$ of $G$ is the cardinality of a minimum restricted edge-cut of $G$ if it has any; otherwise $λ'(G)=+\infty$. If $G$ is not a star and its order is at least four, then $λ'(G)\leq ξ(G)$, where $ξ(G)=$ min$\{d_G(u) + d_G(v)-2:\ uv \in E(G)\}$. The graph $G$ is said to be maximally restricted edge-connected if $λ'(G)= ξ(G)$; the graph $G$ is said to be super restricted edge-connected if every minimum restricted edge-cut isolates an edge from $G$. The direct product of graphs $G_1$ and $G_2$, denoted by $G_1\times G_2$, is the graph with vertex set $V(G_1\times G_2) = V(G_1)\times V(G_2)$, where two vertices $(u_{1} ,v_{1} )$ and $(u_{2} ,v_{2} )$ are adjacent in $G_1\times G_2$ if and only if $u_{1}u_{2} \in E(G_1)$ and $v_{1}v_{2} \in E(G_2)$. In this paper, we give a sufficient condition for $G\times K_{n}$ to be super restricted edge-connected, where $K_{n}$ is the complete graph on $n$ vertices.

A connected graph is called a block graph if each of its blocks is a complete graph. Let $\mathbf{Bl}(\textbf{k}, \varphi)$ be the class of block graphs on $\textbf{k}$ vertices with given dissociation number $\varphi$. In this article, we have shown the existence and uniqueness of a block graph $\mathbb{B}_{\textbf{k},\varphi}$ in $\mathbf{Bl}(\textbf{k}, \varphi)$ that maximizes the spectral radius $ρ(G)$ among all graphs $G$ in $\mathbf{Bl}(\textbf{k}, \varphi)$. Furthermore, we also provide bounds on $ρ(\mathbb{B}_{\textbf{k},\varphi})$.

In this paper, we study problems about the similar configurations in $\mathbb{F}_q^d$. Let $G=(V, E)$ be a graph, where $V=\{1, 2, \ldots, n\}$ and $E\subseteq{V\choose2}$. For a set $\mathcal{E}$ in $\mathbb{F}_q^d$, we say that $\mathcal{E}$ contains a pair of $G$ with dilation ratio $r$ if there exist distinct $\boldsymbol{x}_1, \boldsymbol{x}_2, \ldots, \boldsymbol{x}_n\in\mathcal{E}$ and distinct $\boldsymbol{y}_1, \boldsymbol{y}_2, \ldots, \boldsymbol{y}_n\in\mathcal{E}$ such that $\|\boldsymbol{y}_i-\boldsymbol{y}_{j}\|=r\|\boldsymbol{x}_i-\boldsymbol{x}_j\|\neq0$ whenever $\{i, j\}\in E$, where $\|\boldsymbol{x}\|:=x_1^2+x_2^2+\cdots+x_d^2$ for $\boldsymbol{x}=(x_1, x_2, \ldots, x_d)\in\mathbb{F}_q^d$. We show that if $\mathcal{E}$ has size at least $C_kq^{d/2}$, then $\mathcal{E}$ contains a pair of $k$-stars with dilation ratio $r$, and that if $\mathcal{E}$ has size at least $C\cdot\min\left\{q^{(2d+1)/3}, \max\left\{q^3, q^{d/2}\right\}\right\}$, then $\mathcal{E}$ contains a pair of $4$-paths with dilation ratio $r$. Our method is based on enumerative combinatorics and graph theory.

The power graph of a finite group $G$ is a simple undirected graph with vertex set $G$ and two vertices are adjacent if one is a power of the other. The enhanced power graph of a finite group $G$ is a simple undirected graph whose vertex set is the group $G$ and two vertices $a$ and $b$ are adjacent if there exists $c \in G$ such that both $a$ and $b$ are powers of $c$. In this paper, we study the difference graph $\mathcal{D}(G)$ of a finite group $G$ which is the difference of the enhanced power graph and the power graph of $G$ with all isolated vertices removed. We characterize all the finite nilpotent groups $G$ such that the genus (or cross-cap) of the difference graph $\mathcal{D}(G)$ is at most $2$.

A strong edge-coloring of a graph $G$ is an edge-coloring in which every color class is an induced matching, and the strong chromatic index $χ_s'(G)$ is the minimum number of colors needed in strong edge-colorings of $G$. A graph is $2$-degenerate if every subgraph has minimum degree at most $2$. Choi, Kim, Kostochka, and Raspaud (2016) showed $χ_s'(G) \leq 5Δ+1$ if $G$ is a $2$-degenerate graph with maximum degree $Δ$. In this article, we improve it to $χ_s'(G)\le 5Δ-Δ^{1/2-ε}+2$ when $Δ>4^{1/(2ε)}$ for any $0<ε<1/2$.

Some extensions of Delete Nim
Nim is a well-known combinatorial game with several variants, e.g., Delete Nim and Variant Delete Nim. In Variant Delete Nim, the player deletes one of the two heaps of stones and splits the other heap on his/her turn. In this paper, we discuss generalized Variant Delete Nim, which generalizes the number of stone heaps to three or more, All-but-one-delete Nim, Half-delete Nim, No-more-than-half-delete Nim, and Single-delete Nim. We study the win-loss conditions for each of these games.

Let $\FF$ be an arbitrary field and $(\bm{G}_{n,d/n})_n$ be a sequence of sparse weighted Erdős-Rényi random graphs on $n$ vertices with edge probability $d/n$, where weights from $\FF \setminus\{0\}$ are assigned to the edges according to a fixed matrix $J_n$. We show that the normalised rank of the adjacency matrix of $(\bm{G}_{n,d/n})_n$ converges in probability to a constant, and derive the limiting expression. Our result shows that for the general class of sparse symmetric matrices under consideration, the asymptotics of the normalised rank are independent of the edge weights and even the field, in the sense that the limiting constant for the general case coincides with the one previously established for adjacency matrices of sparse (non-weighted) Erdős-Rényi matrices over $\RR$ from \cite{bordenave2011rank}. Our proof, which is purely combinatorial in its nature, is based on an intricate extension of the novel perturbation approach from \cite{coja2022rank} to the symmetric setting.
On the minimum size of linear sets

Recently, a lower bound was established on the size of linear sets in projective spaces, that intersect a hyperplane in a canonical subgeometry. There are several constructions showing that this bound is tight. In this paper, we generalize this bound to linear sets meeting some subspace $π$ in a canonical subgeometry. We obtain a tight lower bound on the size of any $\mathbb F_q$-linear set spanning $\text{PG}(d,q^n)$ in case that $n \leq q$ and $n$ is prime. We also give constructions of linear sets attaining equality in the former bound, both in the case that $π$ is a hyperplane, and in the case that $π$ is a lower dimensional subspace.

We generalize the property of small-torus equivariant K-homology of the affine Grassmannian to general oriented (co)homology theory in the sense of Levine and Morel. The main tool we use is the formal affine Demazure algebra associated to the affine root system. More precisely, we prove that the small-torus equivariant oriented cohomology of the affine Grassmannian satisfies the GKM condition. We also show that its dual, the small-torus equivariant homology, is isomorphic to the centralizer of the equivariant oriented cohomology of a point in the the formal affine Demazure algebra.
Extremal spherical polytopes and Borsuk's conjecture
We generate anti-self-polar polytopes via a numerical implementation of the gradient flow induced by the diameter functional on the space of all finite subsets of the sphere, and prove related results on the critical points of the diameter functional as well as results about the combinatorics of such polytopes. We also discuss potential connections to Borsuk's conjecture.

This paper investigates big Ramsey degrees of unrestricted relational structures in (possibly) infinite languages. Despite significant progress in the study of big Ramsey degrees, the big Ramsey degrees of many classes of structures with finite small Ramsey degrees are still not well understood. We show that if there are only finitely many relations of every arity greater than one, then unrestricted relational structures have finite big Ramsey degrees, and give some evidence that this is tight. This is the first time finiteness of big Ramsey degrees has been established for a random structure in an infinite language. Our results represent an important step towards a better understanding of big Ramsey degrees for structures with relations of arity greater than two.

The identities which are in the literature often called ``bounded Littlewood identities" are determinantal formulas for the sum of Schur functions indexed by partitions with bounded height. They have interesting combinatorial consequences such as connections between standard Young tableaux of bounded height, lattice walks in a Weyl chamber, and noncrossing matchings. In this paper we prove affine analogs of the bounded Littlewood identities. These are determinantal formulas for sums of cylindric Schur functions. We also study combinatorial aspects of these identities. As a consequence we obtain an unexpected connection between cylindric standard Young tableaux and \( r \)-noncrossing and \( s \)-nonnesting matchings.
