Recently, regular Cayley maps of cyclic groups and dihedral groups have been classified. A nature question is to classify regular Cayley maps of elementary abelian $p$-groups $Z_p^n$. In this paper, a complete classification of regular Cayley maps of $Z_p^n$ is given and moreover, the number of these maps and their genera are enumerated.

Lin, Lu, and Yau formulated the Ricci curvature of edges in simple undirected graphs[2]. Using their formulations, we calculate the Ricci curvatures of Cayley graphs for the dihedral groups, the general quaternion groups, and cyclic groups with some generating sets that are chosen so that their cardinal numbers are less than or equal to four. For the dihedral group and the general quaternion group, we obtained the Ricci curvatures of all edges of the Cayley graph with generator sets consisting of the four elements that are the two generators defining each group and their inverses elements. For the cyclic group (Z/nZ, +), we have the Ricci curvatures of edges of the Cayley graph generating by S_{1, k} = {+1, -1, +k, -k}.
Constructing uniform 2-factorizations via row-sum matrices: solutions to the Hamilton-Waterloo problem

In this paper, we formally introduce the concept of a row-sum matrix over an arbitrary group $G$. When $G$ is cyclic, these types of matrices have been widely used to build uniform 2-factorizations of small Cayley graphs (or, Cayley subgraphs of blown-up cycles), which themselves factorize complete (equipartite) graphs.
Here, we construct row-sum matrices over a class of non-abelian groups, the generalized dihedral groups, and we use them to construct uniform $2$-factorizations that solve infinitely many open cases of the Hamilton-Waterloo problem, thus filling up large parts of the gaps in the spectrum of orders for which such factorizations are known to exist.
On directed strongly regular Cayley graphs over non-abelian groups with an abelian subgroup of index $2$
In 1988, Duval introduced the concept of directed strongly regular graphs, which can be viewed as a directed graph version of strongly regular graphs. Such directed graphs have similar structural and algebraic properties to strongly regular graphs. In the past three decades, it was found that Cayley graphs, especially those over dihedral groups, play a key role in the construction of directed strongly regular graphs. In this paper, we focus on the characterization of directed strongly regular Cayley graphs over more general groups. Let $G$ be a non-abelian group with an abelian subgroup of index $2$. We give some necessary conditions for a Cayley graph over $G$ to be directed strongly regular, and characterize the directed strongly regular Cayley graphs over $G$ satisfying specified conditions. This extends some previous results of He and Zhang (2019).

We provide a general recursive method for constructing transfer systems on finite lattices. Using this we calculate the number of homotopically distinct $N_\infty$ operads for dihedral groups $D_{p^n}$, $p > 2$ prime, and cyclic groups $C_{qp^n}$, $p \neq q$ prime. We then further display some of the beautiful combinatorics obtained by restricting to certain homotopically meaningful $N_\infty$ operads for these groups.
Switching $m$-edge-coloured graphs using non-Abelian groups
Let $G$ be a graph whose edges are each assigned one of the $m$-colours $1, 2, \ldots, m$, and let $Γ$ be a subgroup of $S_m$. The operation of switching at a vertex $x$ with respect $π\in Γ$ permutes the colours of the edges incident with $x$ according to $π$. There is a well-developed theory of switching when $Γ$ is Abelian. Much less is known for non-Abelian groups. In this paper we consider switching with respect to non-Abelian groups including symmetric, alternating and dihedral groups. We first consider the question of whether there is a sequence of switches using elements of $Γ$ that transforms an $m$-edge-coloured graph $G$ to an $m$-edge coloured graph $H$. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of such a sequence are given for each of the groups being considered. We then consider the question of whether an $m$-edge coloured graph can be switched using elements of $Γ$ so that the transformed $m$-edge coloured graph has a vertex $k$-colouring, or a homomorphism to a fixed $m$-edge coloured graph $H$. For the groups just mentioned we establish dichotomy theorems for the complexity of these decision problems. These are the first dichotomy theorems to be established for colouring or homomorphism problems and switching with respect to any group other than $S_2$.
On Graphs, Groups and Geometry
A metric space (X,d) is declared to be natural if (X,d) determines an up to isomorphism unique group structure (X,+) on the set X such that all the group translations and group inversion are isometries. A group is called natural if it emerges like this from a natural metric. A simple graph X is declared to be natural if (X,d) with geodesic metric d is natural. We look here at some examples and some general statements like that the graphical regular representations of a finite group is always a natural graphs or that the direct product on groups or the Shannon product of finite graphs preserves the property of being natural. The semi-direct product of finite natural groups is natural too as they are represented by Zig-Zag products of suitable Cayley graphs. It follows that wreath products preserve natural groups. The Rubik cube for example is natural. Also free products of finitely generated natural groups are natural. A major theme is that non-natural groups often can be upgraded to become natural by extending them to become Coxeter groups. Examples of non-natural groups are cyclic groups whose order is divisible by 4, the quaternion group, the integers, the lamplighter group, the free groups or the group of p-adic integers. The prototype feature is to extend the integers and get the infinite dihedral group, replacing the single generator by two free reflections. We conclude with a short discussion of the hypothesis of using the dihedral group as a physical time in dynamical system theory.
Cayley graphs on non-isomorphic groups
A number of authors have studied the question of when a graph can be represented as a Cayley graph on more than one nonisomorphic group. In this paper we give conditions for when a Cayley graph on an abelian group can be represented as a Cayley graph on a generalized dihedral group, and conditions for when the converse is true.

Witte Morris showed in [21] that every connected Cayley graph of a finite (generalized) dihedral group has a Hamiltonian path. The infinite dihedral group is defined as the free product with amalgamation $\mathbb Z_2 \ast \mathbb Z_2$. We show that every connected Cayley graph of the infinite dihedral group has both a Hamiltonian double ray, and extend this result to all two-ended generalized quasi-dihedral groups.

Recently, several works by a number of authors have provided characterizations of integral undirected Cayley graphs over generalized dihedral groups and generalized dicyclic groups. We generalize and unify these results in two different ways. Firstly, we work over arbitrary non-abelian finite groups admitting an abelian subgroup of index 2. Secondly, our main result actually characterizes integral mixed Cayley graphs over such finite groups, in the spirit of a very recent result of Kadyan--Bhattarcharjya in the abelian case.

A $1-$factorization of a complete graph on $2n$ vertices is said to be $G-$regular if it posseses an automorphism group $G$ acting sharply transitively on the vertex-set. The problem of determining which groups can realize such a situation dates back to a result by Hartman and Rosa (1985) on cyclic groups and, when $n$ is even, the problem is still open. An attempt to obtain a fairly precise description of groups and $1-$factorizations satisfying this symmetry constrain can be done by imposing further conditions. It was recently proved, see Rinaldi (2021) and Mazzuoccolo et al. (2019), that a $G-$regular $1-$factorization together with a complete set of rainbow spanning trees exists whenever $n$ is odd, while the existence for each $n$ even was proved when either $G$ is cyclic and $n$ is not a power of $2$, or when $G$ is a dihedral group. In this paper we extend this result and prove the existence also for other classes of groups.

Recently, several works by a number of authors have studied integrality, distance integrality, and distance powers of Cayley graphs over some finite groups, such as dicyclic groups and (generalized) dihedral groups. Our aim is to generalize and/or to give analogues of these results for generalized dicyclic groups. For example, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for a Cayley graph over a generalized dicyclic group to be integral (i.e., all eigenvalues of its adjacency matrix are in $\mathbb{Z}$). We also obtain sufficient conditions for the integrality of all distance powers of a Cayley graph over a given generalized dicyclic group. These results extend works on dicyclic groups by Cheng--Feng--Huang and Cheng--Feng--Liu--Lu--Stevanovic, respectively.

The study of perfect state transfer on graphs has attracted a great deal of attention during the past ten years because of its applications to quantum information processing and quantum computation. Perfect state transfer is understood to be a rare phenomenon. This paper establishes necessary and sufficient conditions for a bi-Cayley graph having perfect state transfer over any given finite abelian group. As corollaries, many known and new results are obtained on Cayley graphs having perfect state transfer over abelian groups, (generalized) dihedral groups, semi-dihedral groups and generalized quaternion groups. Especially, we give an example of a connected non-normal Cayley graph over a dihedral group having perfect state transfer between two distinct vertices, which was thought impossible.

In this paper, we consider the problem on the existence of perfect state transfer(PST for short) on semi-Cayley graphs over abelian groups (which are not necessarily regular), i.e on the graphs having semiregular and abelian subgroups of automorphisms with two orbits of equal size. We stablish a characterization of semi-Cayley graphs over abelian groups having PST. As a result, we give a characterization of Cayley graphs over groups with an abelian subgroup of index 2 having PST, which improves the earlier results on Cayley graphs over abelian groups, dihedral groups and dicyclic group and determines Cayley graphs over generalized dihedral groups and generalized dicyclic groups having PST.

Symmetry groups of pfaffians of symmetric matrices
We prove that symmetry group of the pfaffian polynomial of a symmetric matrix is a dihedral group. We calculate pfaffians of symmetric matrices with components $(x_i-x_j)^2$ and $\cos(x_i-x_j)$ for $i<j.$

We introduce a quotient of Fomin-Kirillov algebra $FK(n)$ denoted $\overline{FK}_{C_n}(n)$, over the ideal generated by the edges of a complete graph on n vertexes that are missing in the $n$-cycle graph $C_n$. For this quotient algebra $\overline{FK}_{C_n}(n)$, we show that the basis is in one-to-one correspondence with the set of matchings in an $n$-cycle graph. We also prove that the dimension of $\overline{FK}_{C_n}(n)$ equals the Lucas Number $L_n$ and its Hilbert series is $q$-Lucas polynomial. We find the character map of this quotient algebra over Dihedral group $D_n$.

After reviewing the group structure and representation theory for the dihedral group $D_{2n},$ we consider an intertwining operator $Φ_ρ$ from the group algebra $\mathbb{C}[D_{2n}]$ into a corresponding space of semi-magic matrices. From this intertwining operator, one obtains the generating function for enumerating the associated semi-magic squares with fixed line sum and an algebra extending the circulant matrices. While this work complements the approach to $D_{2n}$ through permutation polytopes, we use only methods from representation theory.

We study bipartite distance-regular Cayley graphs with diameter three or four. We give sufficient conditions under which a bipartite Cayley graph can be constructed on the semidirect product of a group -- the part of this bipartite Cayley graph which contains the identity element -- and $\mathbb{Z}_{2}$. We apply this to the case of bipartite distance-regular Cayley graphs with diameter three, and consider cases where the sufficient conditions are not satisfied for some specific groups such as the dihedral group. We also extend a result by Miklavič and Potočnik that relates difference sets to bipartite distance-regular Cayley graphs with diameter three to the case of diameter four. This new case involves certain partial geometric difference sets and -- in the antipodal case -- relative difference sets.
The main zero-sum constants over $D_{2n} \times C_2$
Let $C_2$ be the cyclic group of order $2$ and $D_{2n}$ be the dihedral group of order $2n$, where $n$ is even. In this paper, we provide the exact values of some zero-sum constants over $D_{2n} \times C_2$, namely small Davenport constant, Gao constant, $η$-constant and Erd\H os-Ginzburg-Ziv constant. As a consequence, we prove the Gao's and Zhuang-Gao's Conjectures for this group. These are the first concrete results on zero-sum problems for a family of non-abelian groups of rank greater than $2$.
