We explore a generalization of the Markov numbers that is motivated by a specific generalized cluster algebra arising from an orbifold, in the sense of Chekhov and Shapiro. We give an explicit algorithm for computing these generalized Markov numbers and exhibit several patterns analogous to those that appear within the ordinary Markov numbers. Along the way, we present formulas related to continued fractions and snake graphs.
The Generalized Cluster Complex: Refined Enumeration of Faces and Related Parking Spaces

The generalized cluster complex was introduced by Fomin and Reading, as a natural extension of the Fomin-Zelevinsky cluster complex coming from finite type cluster algebras. In this work, to each face of this complex we associate a parabolic conjugacy class of the underlying finite Coxeter group. We show that the refined enumeration of faces (respectively, positive faces) according to this data gives an explicit formula in terms of the corresponding characteristic polynomial (equivalently, in terms of Orlik-Solomon exponents). This characteristic polynomial originally comes from the theory of hyperplane arrangements, but it is conveniently defined via the parabolic Burnside ring. This makes a connection with the theory of parking spaces: our results eventually rely on some enumeration of chains of noncrossing partitions that were obtained in this context. The precise relations between the formulas counting faces and the one counting chains of noncrossing partitions are combinatorial reciprocities, generalizing the one between Narayana and Kirkman numbers.
Superunitary regions of cluster algebras
This note introduces the superunitary region of a cluster algebra, the subspace of the totally positive region on which each cluster variable is at least 1. Our main result is that the superunitary region of a finite type cluster algebra is a regular CW complex which is homeomorphic to the generalized associahedron of the cluster algebra. As an application, the compactness of the superunitary region implies that each Dynkin diagram admits finitely many positive integral friezes.

We study relations between cluster algebra invariants and link invariants.
First, we show that several constructions of positroid links (permutation links, Richardson links, grid diagram links, plabic graph links) give rise to isotopic links. For a subclass of permutations arising from concave curves, we also provide isotopies with the corresponding Coxeter links.
Second, we associate a point count polynomial to an arbitrary locally acyclic quiver. We conjecture an equality between the top $a$-degree coefficient of the HOMFLY polynomial of a plabic graph link and the point count polynomial of its planar dual quiver. We prove this conjecture for leaf recurrent plabic graphs, which includes reduced plabic graphs and plabic fences as special cases.
Cluster structures on braid varieties

We show the existence of cluster $\mathcal{A}$-structures and cluster Poisson structures on any braid variety, for any simple Lie group. The construction is achieved via weave calculus and a tropicalization of Lusztig's coordinates. Several explicit seeds are provided and the quiver and cluster variables are readily computable. We prove that these upper cluster algebras equal their cluster algebras, show local acyclicity, and explicitly determine their DT-transformations as the twist automorphisms of braid varieties. The main result also resolves the conjecture of B. Leclerc on the existence of cluster algebra structures on the coordinate rings of open Richardson varieties.

Earthquake theorem for cluster algebras of finite type

We introduce a cluster algebraic generalization of Thurston's earthquake map for the cluster algebras of finite type, which we call the \emph{cluster earthquake map}. It is defined by gluing exponential maps, which is modeled after the earthquakes along ideal arcs. We prove an analogue of the earthquake theorem, which states that the cluster earthquake map gives a homeomorphism between the spaces of $\mathbb{R}^\mathrm{trop}$- and $\mathbb{R}_{>0}$-valued points of the cluster $\mathcal{X}$-variety. For those of type $A_n$ and $D_n$, the cluster earthquake map indeed recovers the earthquake maps for marked disks and once-punctured marked disks, respectively. Moreover, we investigate certain asymptotic behaviors of the cluster earthquake map, which give rise to "continuous deformations" of the Fock--Goncharov fan.

We study super cluster algebra structure arising in examples provided by super Plücker and super Ptolemy relations. We develop the super cluster structure of the super Grassmannians $\Gr_{2|0}(n|1)$ for arbitrary $n$, which was indicated earlier in our joint work with Th. Voronov. For the super Ptolemy relation for the decorated super Teichmüller space of Penner-Zeitlin, we show how by a change of variables it can be transformed into the classical Ptolemy relation with the new even variables decoupled from odd variables. We also analyze super Plücker relations for general super Grassmannians and obtain a new simple form of the relations for $\Gr_{r|1}(n|1)$. To this end, we establish properties of Berezinians of certain type matrices (which we call ``wrong'').

Locally free Caldero-Chapoton functions via reflections

We study the reflections of locally free Caldero-Chapoton functions associated to representations of Geiss-Leclerc-Schröer's quivers with relations for symmetrizable Cartan matrices. We prove that for rank 2 cluster algebras, non-initial cluster variables are expressed as locally free Caldero-Chapoton functions of locally free indecomposable rigid representations. Our method gives rise to a new proof of the locally free Caldero-Chapoton formulas obtained by Geiss-Leclerc-Schröer in Dynkin cases. For general acyclic skew-symmetrizable cluster algebras, we prove the formula for any non-initial cluster variable obtained by almost sink and source mutations.
Microlocal Theory of Legendrian Links and Cluster Algebras

We show the existence of quasi-cluster $\mathcal{A}$-structures and cluster Poisson structures on moduli stacks of sheaves with singular support in the alternating strand diagram of grid plabic graphs by studying the microlocal parallel transport of sheaf quantizations of Lagrangian fillings of Legendrian links. The construction is in terms of contact and symplectic topology, showing that there exists an initial seed associated to a canonical relative Lagrangian skeleton. In particular, mutable cluster $\mathcal{A}$-variables are intrinsically characterized via the symplectic topology of Lagrangian fillings in terms of dually $\mathbb{L}$-compressible cycles. New ingredients are introduced throughout this work, including the initial weave associated to a grid plabic graph, cluster mutation along a non-square face of a plabic graph, the concept of the sugar-free hull, and the notion of microlocal merodromy. Finally, a contact geometric realization of the DT-transformation is constructed for shuffle graphs, proving cluster duality for the cluster ensembles.
Red sizes of quivers

In this article, we will expand on the notions of maximal green and reddening sequences for quivers associated to cluster algebras. The existence of these sequences has been studied for a variety of applications related to Fomin and Zelevinsky's cluster algebras. Ahmad and Li considered a numerical measure of how close a quiver is to admitting a maximal green sequence called a red number. In this paper we generalized this notion to what we call unrestricted red numbers which are related to reddening sequences. In addition to establishing this more general framework we completely determine the red numbers and unrestricted red numbers for all finite mutation type quivers. Furthermore, we give conjectures on the possible values of red numbers and unrestricted red numbers in general.
Cluster Algebras: Network Science and Machine Learning

Cluster algebras have recently become an important player in mathematics and physics. In this work, we investigate them through the lens of modern data science, specifically with techniques from network science and machine learning. Network analysis methods are applied to the exchange graphs for cluster algebras of varying mutation types. The analysis indicates that when the graphs are represented without identifying by permutation equivalence between clusters an elegant symmetry emerges in the quiver exchange graph embedding. The ratio between number of seeds and number of quivers associated to this symmetry is computed for finite Dynkin type algebras up to rank 5, and conjectured for higher ranks. Simple machine learning techniques successfully learn to classify cluster algebras using the data of seeds. The learning performance exceeds 0.9 accuracies between algebras of the same mutation type and between types, as well as relative to artificially generated data.

To each triangulation of any surface with marked points on the boundary and orbifold points of order three, we associate a quiver (with loops) with potential whose Jacobian algebra is finite dimensional and gentle. We study the stability scattering diagrams of such gentle algebras and use them to prove that the Caldero--Chapoton map defines a bijection between reachable $τ$-rigid pairs and cluster monomials of the generalized cluster algebra associated to the surface by Chekhov and Shapiro.
On exchange matrices from string diagrams
Inspired by Fock-Goncharov's amalgamation procedure \cite{Fock-Goncharov-2006}, Shen-Weng introduced string diagrams in \cite{Shen-Weng-2021}, which are very useful to describe many interesting skew-symmetrizable matrices closely related with Lie theory. In this paper, we prove that the skew-symmetrizable matrices from string diagrams are in the smallest class $\mathcal P^\prime$ of skew-symmetrizable matrices containing the $1\times 1$ zero matrix and closed under mutations and source-sink extensions. This result applies to the exchange matrices of cluster algebras from double Bruhat cells, unipotent cells, double Bott-Samelson cells and so on.
Our main result can be used to explain why many skew-symmetrizable matrices from Lie theory have reddening sequences. It can be also used to prove some interesting results regarding non-degenerate potentials on many quivers from Lie theory.
A cluster structure on the coordinate ring of partial flag varieties

The main goal of this paper is to show that the (multi-homogeneous) coordinate ring of a partial flag variety $\mathbb{C} [G / P_K^{-}]$ admits a cluster algebra structure if $G$ is any simply-connected semisimple complex algebraic group. We use derivation properties and a special lifting map to prove that the cluster algebra structure $\mathcal{A}$ of the coordinate ring $\mathbb{C}[N_K]$ of a Schubert cell constructed by Goodearl and Yakimov can be lifted, in an explicit way, to a cluster structure $\hat{\mathcal{A}}$ living in the coordinate ring of the corresponding partial flag variety. Then we use a minimality condition to prove that the cluster algebra $\hat{\mathcal{A}}$ is indeed equal to $\mathbb{C}[G / P_K^{-}]$.
Multitriangulations and tropical Pfaffians

The $k$-associahedron $Ass_k(n)$ is the simplicial complex of $(k+1)$-crossing-free subgraphs of the complete graph with vertices on a circle. Its facets are called $k$-triangulations.
We explore the connection of $Ass_k(n)$ with the Pfaffian variety $Pf_k(n)\subset {\mathbb K}^{\binom{[n]}2}$ of antisymmetric matrices of rank $\le 2k$.
First, we characterize the Gröbner cone $Grob_k(n)\subset{\mathbb R}^{\binom{[n]}2}$ producing as initial ideal of $I(Pf_k(n))$ the Stanley-Reisner ideal of $Ass_k(n)$ (that is, the monomial ideal generated by $(k+1)$-crossings). This implies that $k$-triangulations are bases in the algebraic matroid of $Pf_k(n)$, a matroid closely related to low-rank completion of antisymmetric matrices.
We then look at the tropicalization of $Pf_k(n)$ and show that $Ass_k(n)$ embeds naturally as the intersection of $\operatorname{trop}(Pf_k(n))$ and $Grob_k(n)$, and is contained in the totally positive part $\operatorname{trop}^+( Pf_k(n))$ of it.
We show that for $k=1$ and for each triangulation $T$ of the $n$-gon, the projection of this embedding of $Ass_k(n)$ to the $n-3$ coordinates corresponding to diagonals in $T$ gives a complete polytopal fan, realizing the associahedron. This fan is linearly isomorphic to the $\mathbf g$-vector fan of the cluster algebra of type $A$, shown to be polytopal by Hohlweg, Pilaud and Stella in (2018).
$\mathscr{A}=\mathscr{U}$ for cluster algebras from moduli spaces of $G$-local systems

For a finite-dimensional simple Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ admitting a non-trivial minuscule representation and a connected marked surface $Σ$ with at least two marked points and no punctures, we prove that the cluster algebra $\mathscr{A}_{\mathfrak{g},Σ}$ associated with the pair $(\mathfrak{g},Σ)$ coincides with the upper cluster algebra $\mathscr{U}_{\mathfrak{g},Σ}$. The proof is based on the fact that the function ring $\mathcal{O}(\mathcal{A}^\times_{G,Σ})$ of the moduli space of decorated twisted $G$-local systems on $Σ$ is generated by matrix coefficients of Wilson lines introduced in [IO20]. As an application, we prove that the Muller-type skein algebras $\mathscr{S}_{\mathfrak{g}, Σ}[\partial^{-1}]$ [Muller,IY23,IY22] for $\mathfrak{g}=\mathfrak{sl}_2, \mathfrak{sl}_3,$ or $\mathfrak{sp}_4$ are isomorphic to the cluster algebras $\mathscr{A}_{\mathfrak{g}, Σ}$.

In this paper, we deal with two classes of Diophantine equations, $x^2+y^2+z^2+k_1yz+k_2zx+k_3xy=(3+k_1+k_2+k_3)xyz$ and $x^2+y^4+z^4+ky^2z^2+2xz^2+2xy^2=(7+k)xy^2z^2$, where $k_1,k_2,k_3,k$ are nonnegative integers. The former is known as the Markov Diophantine equation if $k_1=k_2=k_3=0$, and the latter is a Diophantine equation recently studied by Lampe if $k=0$. We give algorithms to enumerate all positive integer solutions to these equations, and discuss the structures of the generalized cluster algebras behind them.
