We generalize the theory of linked partition ideals due to Andrews using finite automata in formal language theory and apply it to prove three Rogers--Ramanujan type identities of modulo 14 that were posed by Nandi through vertex operator theoretic construction of the level 4 standard modules of the affine Lie algebra $A^{(2)}_{2}$.
Beyond Göllnitz' Theorem I: A Bijective Approach

In 2003, Alladi, Andrews and Berkovich proved an identity for partitions where parts occur in eleven colors: four primary colors, six secondary colors, and one quaternary color. Their work answered a longstanding question of how to go beyond a classical theorem of Göllnitz, which uses three primary and three secondary colors. Their main tool was a deep and difficult four parameter $q$-series identity. In this paper we take a different approach. Instead of adding an eleventh quaternary color, we introduce forbidden patterns and give a bijective proof of a ten-colored partition identity lying beyond Göllnitz' theorem. Using a second bijection, we show that our identity is equivalent to the identity of Alladi, Andrews, and Berkovich. From a combinatorial viewpoint, the use of forbidden patterns is more natural and leads to a simpler formulation. In fact, in Part II of this series we will show how our method can be used to go beyond Göllnitz' theorem to any number of primary colors.
Andrews-Gordon Type Series for Schur's Partition Identity
We construct an evidently positive multiple series as a generating function for partitions satisfying the multiplicity condition in Schur's partition theorem.
Refinements of the series when parts in the said partitions are classified according to their parities or values mod 3 are also considered.
Direct combinatorial interpretations of the series are provided.

We show that, up to multiplication by a factor $\frac{1}{(cq;q)_{\infty}}$, the weighted words version of Capparelli's identity is a particular case of the weighted words version of Primc's identity. We prove this first using recurrences, and then bijectively. We also give finite versions of both identities.

We prove seven of the Rogers-Ramanujan type identities modulo $12$ that were conjectured by Kanade and Russell. Included among these seven are the two original modulo $12$ identities, in which the products have asymmetric congruence conditions, as well as the three symmetric identities related to the principally specialized characters of certain level $2$ modules of $A_9^{(2)}$. We also give reductions of four other conjectures in terms of single-sum basic hypergeometric series.
Andrews-Gordon Type Series for Kanade-Russell Conjectures
We construct Andrews-Gordon type evidently positive series as generating functions of partitions satisfying certain difference conditions in six conjectures by Kanade and Russell. We construct generating functions for missing partition enumerants, naturally without claiming new partition identities. Thus, we obtain $q$-series conjectures as companions to Kanade and Russell's combinatorial conjectures.

In two papers, Little and Sellers introduced an exciting new combinatorial method for proving partition identities which is not directly bijective. Instead, they consider various sets of weighted tilings of a $1 \times \infty$ board with squares and dominoes, and for each type of tiling they construct a generating function in two different ways, which generates a $q$-series identity. Using this method, they recover quite a few classical $q$-series identities, but Euler's Pentagonal Number Theorem is not among them. In this paper, we introduce a key parameter when constructing the generating functions of various sets of tilings which allows us to recover Euler's Pentagonal Number Theorem along with an infinite family of generalizations.
Partition implications of a new three parameter $q$-series identity

A generalization of a beautiful $q$-series identity found in the unorganized portion of Ramanujan's second and third notebooks is obtained. As a consequence, we derive a new three-parameter identity which is a rich source of partition-theoretic information. In particular, we use this identity to obtain a generalization of a recent result of Andrews, Garvan and Liang, which itself generalizes the famous result of Fokkink, Fokkink and Wang. This three-parameter identity also leads to several new weighted partition identities as well as a natural proof of a recent result of Garvan. This natural proof gives interesting number-theoretic information along the way. We also obtain a new result consisting of an infinite series involving a special case of Fine's function $F(a,b;t)$, namely, $F(0,q^n;cq^n)$. For $c=1$, this gives Andrews' famous identity for $\mathrm{spt}(n)$ whereas for $c=-1, 0$ and $q$, it unravels new relations that the divisor function $d(n)$ has with other partition-theoretic functions such as the largest parts function $\mathrm{lpt}(n)$.
Combinatorial proofs of two Euler type identities due to Andrews

We prove combinatorially some identities related to Euler's partition identity (the number of partitions of $n$ into distinct parts equals the number of partitions of $n$ into odd parts). They were conjectured by Beck and proved by Andrews via generating functions.
Let $a(n)$ be the number of partitions of $n$ such that the set of even parts has exactly one element, $b(n)$ be the difference between the number of parts in all odd partitions of $n$ and the number of parts in all distinct partitions of $n$, and $c(n)$ be the number of partitions of $n$ in which exactly one part is repeated. Then, $a(n)=b(n)=c(n)$. The identity $a(n)=c(n)$ was proved combinatorially (in greater generality) by Fu and Tang. We prove combinatorially that $a(n)=b(n)$ and $b(n)=c(n)$. Our proof relies on bijections between a set and a multiset, where the partitions in the multiset are decorated with bit strings. Let $c_1(n)$ be the number of partitions of $n$ such that there is exactly one part occurring three times while all other parts occur only once and let $b_1(n)$ to be the difference between the total number of parts in the partitions of $n$ into distinct parts and the total number of different parts in the partitions of $n$ into odd parts. We prove combinatorially that $c_1(n)=b_1(n)$. In addition to these results by Andrews, we prove combinatorially that $b_1(n)=a_1(n)$, where $a_1(n)$ counts partitions of $n$ such that the set of even parts has exactly one element and satisfying some additional conditions. We also treat the case when exactly one part occurs twice while all other parts occur only once.

We utilize the technique of staircases and jagged partitions to provide analytic sum-sides to some old and new partition identities of Rogers-Ramanujan type. Firstly, we conjecture a class of new partition identities related to the principally specialized characters of certain level $2$ modules for the affine Lie algebra $A_9^{(2)}$. Secondly, we provide analytic sum-sides to some earlier conjectures of the authors. Next, we use these analytic sum-sides to discover a number of further generalizations. Lastly, we apply this technique to the well-known Capparelli identities and present analytic sum-sides which we believe to be new. All of the new conjectures presented in this article are supported by a strong mathematical evidence.
Parity Considerations in Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon Type Overpartitions

In 2010, Andrews considers a variety of parity questions connected to classical partition identities of Euler, Rogers, Ramanujan and Gordon. As a large part in his paper, Andrews considered the partitions by restricting the parity of occurrences of even numbers or odd numbers in the Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon type. The Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon type partition was defined by Gordon in 1961 as a combinatorial generalization of the Rogers-Ramaujan identities with odd moduli.
In 1974, Andrews derived an identity which can be considered as the generating function counterpart of the Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon theorem, and since then it has been called the Andrews--Gordon identity. By revisting the Andrews--Gordon identity Andrews extended his results by considering some additional restrictions involving parities to obtain some Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon type theorems and Andrews--Gordon type identities. In the end of Andrews' paper, he posed $15$ open problems. Most of Andrews' $15$ open problems have been settled, but the $11$th that "extend the parity indices to overpartitions in a manner" has not. In 2013, Chen, Sang and Shi, derived the overpartition analogues of the Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon theorem and the Andrews-Gordon identity. In this paper, we post some parity restrictions on these overpartitions analogues to get some Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon type overpartition theorems.

Partitions associated with mock theta functions have received a great deal of attention in the literature. Recently, Choi and Kim derived several partition identities from the third and sixth order mock theta functions. In addition, three Ramanujan-type congruences were established by them. In this paper, we present some new congruences for these partition functions.
On a dual and an overpartition generalization of a family of identities of Andrews
We present a dual of a family of partition identities of Andrews involving partitions with no repeated odd parts (among other conditions), along with an overpartition generalization that encapsulates both families. These were discovered during the course of research for an upcoming article by the authors along with Debajyoti Nandi. The proof uses Appell's comparison theorem.
The method of weighted words revisited
Alladi and Gordon introduced the method of weighted words in 1993 to prove a refinement and generalisation of Schur's partition identity. Together with Andrews, they later used it to refine Capparelli's and Göllnitz' identities too. In this paper, we present a new variant of this method, which can be used to study more complicated partition identities, and apply it to prove refinements and generalisations of three partition identities. The first one, Siladić's theorem (2002), comes from vertex operator algebras. The second one, a conjectural identity of Primc (1999), comes from crystal base theory. The last one is a very general identity about coloured overpartitions which generalises and unifies several generalisations of Schur's theorem due to Alladi-Gordon, Andrews, Corteel-Lovejoy, Lovejoy and the author.

Generalising a finite version of Euler's partition identity
Recently, George Andrews has given a Glaisher style proof of a finite version of Euler's partition identity. We generalise this result by giving a finite version of Glaisher's partition identity. Both the generating function and bijective proofs are presented.

We present a particular connection between classical partition combinatorics and the theory of quiver representations. Specifically, we give a bijective proof of an analogue of A. L. Cauchy's Durfee square identity to multipartitions. We then use this result to give a new proof of M. Reineke's identity in the case of quivers $Q$ of Dynkin type $A$ of arbitrary orientation. Our identity is stated in terms of the lacing diagrams of S. Abeasis - A. Del Fra, which parameterize orbits of the representation space of $Q$ for a fixed dimension vector.

We use the $q$-binomial theorem, the $q$-Gauss sum, and the ${}_2φ_1 \rightarrow {}_2φ_2$ transformation of Jackson to discover and prove many new weighted partition identities. These identities involve unrestricted partitions, overpartitions, and partitions with distinct even parts. Smallest part of the partitions plays an important role in our analysis. This work was motivated in part by the research of Krishna Alladi.
Variation on a theme of Nathan Fine. New weighted partition identities

We utilize false theta function results of Nathan Fine to discover three new partition identities involving weights. These relations connect Göllnitz--Gordon type partitions and partitions with distinct odd parts, partitions into distinct parts and ordinary partitions, and partitions with distinct odd parts where the smallest positive integer that is not a part of the partition is odd and ordinary partitions subject to some initial conditions, respectively. Some of our weights involve new partition statistics, one is defined as the number of different odd parts of a partition larger than or equal to a given value and another one is defined as the number of different even parts larger than the first integer that is not a part of the partition.
Dedicated to our friend, Krishna Alladi, on his 60th birthday.
