We show that for any positive integer $n$, there exists a quiver $Q$ with $O(n^2)$ vertices and $O(n^2)$ edges such that any quiver on $n$ vertices is a full subquiver of a quiver mutation equivalent to $Q$. We generalize this statement to skew-symmetrizable matrices and obtain other related results. In particular, we show that any quiver is a full subquiver of a quiver mutation equivalent to a quiver of a plabic graph.

The notion of a $τ$-exceptional sequence was introduced by Buan and Marsh in 2018 as a generalisation of an exceptional sequence for finite dimensional algebras. We calculate the number of complete $τ$-exceptional sequences over certain classes of Nakayama algebras. In some cases, we obtain closed formulas which also count other well known combinatorial objects and exceptional sequences of path algebras of Dynkin quivers.

For a quiver $Q$ of Dynkin type $\mathbb{A}_n$, we give a set of $n-1$ inequalities which are necessary and sufficient for a linear stability condition (a.k.a. central charge) $Z\colon K_0(Q) \to \mathbb{C}$ to make all indecomposable representations stable. We furthermore show that these are a minimal set of inequalities defining the space $\mathcal{TS}(Q)$ of total stability conditions, considered as an open subset of $\mathbb{R}^{Q_0} \times (\mathbb{R}_{>0})^{Q_0}$. We then use these inequalities to show that each fiber of the projection of $\mathcal{TS}(Q)$ to $(\mathbb{R}_{>0})^{Q_0}$ is linearly equivalent to $\mathbb{R} \times \mathbb{R}_{>0}^{Q_1}$.

Let $Λ^r_n$ be the path algebra of the linearly oriented quiver of type $\mathbb{A}$ with $n$ vertices modulo the $r$-th power of the radical, and let $\widetildeΛ^r_n$ be the path algebra of the cyclically oriented quiver of type $\widetilde{\mathbb{A}}$ with $n$ vertices modulo the $r$-th power of the radical. Adachi gave a recurrence relation for the number of $τ$-tilting modules over $Λ^r_n$. In this paper, we show that the same recurrence relation also holds for the number of $τ$-tilting modules over $\widetildeΛ^r_n$. As an application, we give a new proof for a result by Asai on recurrence formulae for the number of support $τ$-tilting modules over $Λ^r_n$ and $\widetildeΛ^r_n$.

We construct tilting modules over Jacobian algebras arising from knots. To a two-bridge knot $L[a_1,\ldots,a_n]$, we associate a quiver $Q$ with potential and its Jacobian algebra $A$. We construct a family of canonical indecomposable $A$-modules $M(i)$, each supported on a different specific subquiver $Q(i)$ of $Q$. Each of the $M(i)$ is expected to parametrize the Jones polynomial of the knot. We study the direct sum $M=\oplus_iM(i)$ of these indecomposables inside the module category of $A$ as well as in the cluster category.
In this paper we consider the special case where the two-bridge knot is given by two parameters $a_1,a_2$. We show that the module $M$ is rigid and $τ$-rigid, and we construct a completion of $M$ to a tilting (and $τ$-tilting) $A$-module $T$. We show that the endomorphism algebra $\operatorname{End}_AT$ of $T$ is isomorphic to $A$, and that the mapping $T\mapsto A[1]$ induces a cluster automorphism of the cluster algebra $\mathcal{A}(Q)$. This automorphism is of order two. Moreover, we give a mutation sequence that realizes the cluster automorphism. In particular, we show that the quiver $Q$ is mutation equivalent to an acyclic quiver of type $T_{p,q,r}$ (a tree with three branches). This quiver is of finite type if $(a_1,a_2)=(a_1,2), (1,a_2),$ or $(2,3)$, it is tame for $(a_1,a_2)=(2,4)$ or $(3,3)$, and wild otherwise.

The "amplituhedron" for tree-level scattering amplitudes in the bi-adjoint $φ^3$ theory is given by the ABHY associahedron in kinematic space, which has been generalized to give a realization for all finite-type cluster algebra polytopes, labelled by Dynkin diagrams. In this letter we identify a simple physical origin for these polytopes, associated with an interesting (1+1)-dimensional causal structure in kinematic space, along with solutions to the wave equation in this kinematic "spacetime" with a natural positivity property. The notion of time evolution in this kinematic spacetime can be abstracted away to a certain "walk", associated with any acyclic quiver, remarkably yielding a finite cluster polytope for the case of Dynkin quivers. The ${\cal A}_{n{-}3},{\cal B}_{n{-}1}/{\cal C}_{n{-}1}$ and ${\cal D}_n$ polytopes are the amplituhedra for $n$-point tree amplitudes, one-loop tadpole diagrams, and full integrand of one-loop amplitudes. We also introduce a polytope $\bar{\cal D}_n$, which chops the ${\cal D}_n$ polytope in half along a symmetry plane, capturing one-loop amplitudes in a more efficient way.

We characterize Y/T-system type difference equations arising from cluster algebras by triples of matrices, which we call T-data, that have a certain symplectic property. We show that all mutation loops are essentially obtained from T-data, which generalizes the general solution for period 1 quivers given by Fordy and Marsh. We also show that any T-datum associated with a periodic Y/T-system has the simultaneous positivity. As an application, we propose a version of Nahm's conjecture from a viewpoint of cluster algebras. We conjecture that given a periodic T/Y-system of a certain type, we have a family of hypergeometric q-series that are also modular functions.

This paper presents a geometric model of the Auslander-Reiten quiver of a type A quiver together with a stability function for which all indecomposable modules are stable. We also introduce a new Catalan object which we call a maximal almost rigid representation. We show that its endomorphism algebra is a tilted algebra of type A. We define a partial order on the set of maximal almost rigid representations and use our new geometric model to show that this partial order is a Cambrian lattice.
A geometric realization of socle-projective categories for posets of type $\mathbb{A}$

This paper establishes a link between the theory of cluster algebras and the theory of representations of partially ordered sets. We introduce a class of posets by requiring avoidance of certain types of peak-subposets and show that these posets can be realized as the posets of quivers of type $\mathbb{A}$ with certain additional arrows. This class of posets is therefore called \emph{posets of type $\mathbb{A}$}. We then give a geometric realization of the category of finitely generated socle-projective modules over the incidence algebra of a poset of type $\mathbb{A}$ as a combinatorial category of certain diagonals of a regular polygon. This construction is inspired by the realization of the cluster category of type $\mathbb{A}$ as the category of all diagonals by Caldero, Chapoton and the first author.
We also study the subalgebra of the cluster algebra generated by those cluster variables that correspond to the socle-projectives under the above construction. We give a sufficient condition for when this subalgebra is equal to the whole cluster algebra.

We show that for a finite-type Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$, the representation theory of quiver Hecke algebras provides a natural framework for the construction of Newton-Okounkov bodies associated to the quantum coordinate rings $\Aqnw$. When $\mathfrak{g}$ is simply-laced, we use Kang-Kashiwara-Kim-Oh's monoidal categorification to investigate the cluster theory of these bodies. In particular, our construction yields a simplex $\ds$ for every seed $\s$ of $\Aqnw$.
We exhibit various properties of these simplices by characterizing their rational points, normal fans, and volumes. As an application, we prove an equality of rational functions relating Nakada's hook formula with the root partitions associated to cluster variables, suggesting further connections between cluster theory and the combinatorics of fully-commutative elements of Weyl groups.

We introduce the tropical $F$-polynomial $f_M$ of a quiver representation $M$. We study its interplay with the general presentation for any finite-dimensional basic algebra. We give an interpretation of evaluating $f_M$ at a weight vector. As a consequence, we give a presentation of the Newton polytope ${\sf N}(M)$ of $M$. We study the dual fan and 1-skeleton of ${\sf N}(M)$. We propose an algorithm to determine the generic Newton polytopes, and show it works for path algebras. As an application, we give a representation-theoretic interpretation of Fock-Goncharov's duality pairing. We give an explicit construction of dual clusters, which consists of real Schur representations. We specialize the above general results to the cluster-finite algebras and the preprojective algebras of Dynkin type.
Strong positivity for quantum theta bases of quantum cluster algebras

We construct "quantum theta bases," extending the set of quantum cluster monomials, for various versions of skew-symmetric quantum cluster algebras. These bases consist precisely of the indecomposable universally positive elements of the algebras they generate, and the structure constants for their multiplication are Laurent polynomials in the quantum parameter with non-negative integer coefficients, proving the quantum strong cluster positivity conjecture for these algebras. The classical limits recover the theta bases considered by Gross-Hacking-Keel-Kontsevich. Our approach combines the scattering diagram techniques used in loc. cit. with the Donaldson-Thomas theory of quivers.
Reflection groups and quiver mutation: Diagrammatics

We extend Carter's notion of admissible diagrams and attach a "Dynkin-like" diagram to each reduced reflection factorization of an element in a finite Weyl group. We give a complete classification for the diagrams attached to reduced reflection factorizations. Remarkably, such a diagram turns out to be cyclically orientable if and only if it is isomorphic to the underlying graph of a quiver which is mutation-equivalent to a Dynkin quiver. Furthermore we show that each diagram encodes a natural presentation of the Weyl group as reflection group. The latter one extends work of Cameron, Seidel and Tsaranov as well as Barot and Marsh.

We obtain an explicit crystal isomorphism between two realizations of crystal bases of finite dimensional irreducible representations of simple Lie algebras of type A and D. The first realization we consider is a geometric construction in terms of irreducible components of certain Nakajima quiver varieties established by Saito and the second is a realization in terms of isomorphism classes of quiver representations obtained by Reineke. We give a homological description of the irreducible components of Lusztig's quiver varieties which correspond to the crystal of a finite dimensional representation and describe the promotion operator in type A to obtain a geometric realization of Kirillov-Reshetikhin crystals.

For a quiver $Q$, we take $\mathcal{M}$ an associated toric Nakajima quiver variety and $Γ$ the underlying graph. In this article, we give a direct relation between a specialisation of the Tutte polynomial of $Γ$, the Kac polynomial of $Q$ and the Poincaré polynomial of $\mathcal{M}$. We do this by giving a cell decomposition of $\mathcal{M}$ indexed by spanning trees of $Γ$ and `geometrising' the deletion and contraction operators on graphs. These relations have been previously established by Sturmfels-Hausel and (Crawley-Boovey)-Van den Bergh, however the methods here are more hands-on.

We use the stabilization functors to study the combinatorial aspects of the $F$-polynomial of a representation of any finite-dimensional basic algebra. We characterize the vertices of their Newton polytopes. We give an explicit formula for the $F$-polynomial restricting to any face of its Newton polytope. For acyclic quivers, we give a complete description of all facets of the Newton polytope when the representation is general. We also prove that the support of the $F$-polynomial is saturated for any rigid representation. We provide many examples and counterexamples, and pose several conjectures.
Cyclotomic quiver Hecke algebras corresponding to minuscule representations

We investigate the Jordan-Hölder property (JHP) in exact categories. First, we show that (JHP) holds in an exact category if and only if the Grothendieck monoid introduced by Berenstein and Greenstein is free. Moreover, we give a criterion for this which only uses the Grothendieck group and the number of simple objects. Next, we apply these results to the representation theory of artin algebras. For a large class of exact categories including functorially finite torsion(-free) classes, (JHP) holds precisely when the number of indecomposable projectives is equal to that of simples. We study torsion-free classes in a quiver of type A in detail using the combinatorics of symmetric groups. We introduce Bruhat inversions of permutations and show that simples in a torsion-free class are in bijection with Bruhat inversions of the corresponding $c$-sortable element. We use this to give a combinatorial criterion for (JHP).
Dessins d'enfants and Brauer configuration algebras
In this paper we associate to a dessin d'enfant an associative algebra, called a Brauer configuration algebra. This is an algebra given by quiver and relations induced by the monodromy of the dessin d'enfant. We show that the dimension of the Brauer configuration algebra associated to a dessin d'enfant and the dimension of the centre this algebra are invariant under the action of the absolute Galois group. We give some examples of well-known algebras and their dessins d'enfants. Finally we show that the Brauer configuration algebras of a dessin d'enfant and its dual share the same path algebra.
Polygonal Quivers
We show that Fano lattice polygons define a class of balanced quivers with interesting properties. The combinatorics of these quivers is related to singularities of the underlying toric Fano surface. This allows us to show that every Fano polygon defines a point on a certain family of algebraic hypersurfaces. Our quivers admit a generalized mutation which preserves balancing and coincides with combinatorial mutation of Fano polygons whenever both operations are defined. We characterize balanced quivers arising from Fano polygons and discuss generalizations to higher dimensions.
