We examine the graded automorphism groups of quantum affine spaces and classify these groups for spaces of dimension 7 or less. Using permutation actions on partitions, we investigate cases when the group decomposes as a product of graded automorphism groups of smaller dimensional spaces, and we describe the groups arising from the Kronecker tensor product of independent quantum parameter matrices.
Signed permutations and degree-one dot action representations for types B and C
A spline is an assignment of polynomials to the vertices of a graph, where the difference of two polynomials along an edge must belong to the ideal labeling that edge. We consider a ring of splines $\mathcal{M}_{H}$ constructed on a graph whose vertices are the Weyl group $\mathfrak{W}_n$ of signed permutations, and whose edges and edge-ideals are defined using an order ideal $H$ of positive roots. These splines are a module over the polynomial ring in two ways, and a $\mathfrak{W}_n$-module by the dot action. These structures on $\mathcal{M}_{H}$ give rise to the graded left and right dot action representations of $\mathfrak{W}_n$. The left representation is the type B/C generalization of the type A dot action for regular semisimple Hessenberg varieties (and thus, chromatic quasisymmetric functions), and the right representation is the same for corresponding manifolds of isospectral matrices (and thus, unicellular LLT polynomials). This paper gives explicit module generators for the degree-one graded piece of $\mathcal{M}_{H}$ and computes the degree-one piece of the both dot action representations for all $H$ using the combinatorial data of $H$.
Graphical view on linear extensions of finite posets
One of possible cryptomorphic definitions of a partially ordered set (= a poset) $P$ on a non-empty finite basic set $N$ is in terms of the set ${\cal L}(P)$ of all its linear extensions, that is, in terms of the set of total orders of $N$ consonant with $P$. Any total order of $N$ can be interpreted as a node of a particular graph, called the permutohedral graph (over $N$), because it is indeed the graph of a certain polytope in $\mathbb{R}^{N}$, known as the permutohedron.
It is shown in the paper that a non-empty set of total orders of $N$ equals to ${\cal L}(P)$ for some poset $P$ on $N$ iff it is a geodetically convex set in the permutohedral graph. This result means that a purely graphical concept of geodetical convexity in this graph is a cryptomorphic definition of a finite poset. In particular, the lattice of geodetically convex sets in this graph is graded and its height function is described in graphical terms. A counter-example, however, shows that the height function does not correspond to the usual graphical diameter, relating this matter to a combinatorial concept of the dimension of a poset.
Two alternative cryptomorphic views on a poset $P$ on $N$ are also briefly commented. The geometric counterpart is its full-dimensional braid cone in $\mathbb{R}^{N}$, while a combinatorial alternative is a topology on $N$ distinguishing points, often referred as a distributive lattice.

For the quiver Hecke algebra $R$, let $R\hbox{-gmod}$ be the category of finite-dimensional graded $R$-modules, and let $\widetilde{R\hbox{-gmod}[w]}$ be the localization of $R\hbox{-gmod}$. Kashiwara and the second author showed the set of equivalence classes of simple objects up to grading shifts $\mathrm{Irr}(\widetilde{R\hbox{-gmod}[w]})$ in $\widetilde{R\hbox{-gmod}[w]}$ has a crystal structure, and $\mathrm{Irr}(\widetilde{R\hbox{-gmod}[w]})$ is isomorphic to the so-called cellular crystal $\mathbb B_{\mathbf i}$. This isomorphism induces a function $\varepsilon_i^*$ on $\mathbb B_{\mathbf i}$. We give an explicit formula of $\varepsilon_i^*$, and using this formula, we give a characterization of the unit object of $\widetilde{R\hbox{-gmod}[w]}$ for the case of classical finite types.
Decompositions of Chow rings of direct sums of matroids
We prove two dual recursive decompositions as a graded $\underline{\mathrm{CH}}(M)\otimes \underline{\mathrm{CH}}(N)$-module of the Chow ring $\underline{\mathrm{CH}}(M\oplus N)$ of the direct sum of matroids. We use this to obtain a decomposition of $\underline{\mathrm{CH}}(M\oplus N)$ into irreducible $\underline{\mathrm{CH}}(M) \otimes \underline{\mathrm{CH}}(N)$-modules. The result implies a new recursive formula for the Eulerian numbers. Similarly, we find a recursive decomposition of the augmented Chow ring $\mathrm{CH}(M \oplus N)$ into $\mathrm{CH}(M)\otimes \mathrm{CH}(N)$-modules, generalizing some of the results of arXiv:2002.03341. We prove analogous decompositions of (augmented) Chow polynomials of weakly ranked posets in the sense of arXiv:2411.04070.
On the $h$-polynomials of cyclotomic standard graded commutative algebras
We call a standard graded commutative $\Bbbk$-algebra cyclotomic if its $h$-polynomial has all its roots on the unit circle in the complex plane. Complete intersections provide typical examples of cyclotomic algebras, since the $h$-polynomial of any standard graded complete intersection is a product of polynomials of the form $1 + t + \cdots + t^{m-1}$. We refer to such polynomials as being of type CI. A natural question is whether there exists a cyclotomic standard graded $\Bbbk$-algebra whose $h$-polynomial is not of type CI. In this paper, we give a partial answer to this question. We show that the $h$-polynomial $h_R(t)$ of a cyclotomic standard graded $\Bbbk$-algebra $R$ is of type CI whenever $h_R(1) \in \{1, 4, 6\}$ or $h_R(1)$ is prime. On the other hand, if $n \ge 8$ and $n$ is not prime, then there exists a cyclotomic standard graded $\Bbbk$-algebra $R$ whose $h$-polynomial $h_R(t)$ is not of type CI and satisfies $h_R(1) = n$.
A partial order on the 240 packings of PG(3,2)
It has long been known that the most symmetrical solutions of Kirkman's Schoolgirl Problem can be constructed from the $240$ packings of the projective space $PG(3, 2)$, but it seems to have escaped notice that these packings have the structure of a partially ordered set. In this paper, we construct a shellable Bruhat-like graded partial order on the packings of $PG(3, 2)$ that refines the partial order on the product of four chains $[8]\times[5]\times[3]\times[2]$ and defines a Lehmer code on the packings. The partial order exists because the packings of $PG(3, 2)$ form a quasiparabolic set (in the sense of Rains--Vazirani) that is in bijective correspondence with a certain collection of maximal orthogonal subsets of the $E_8$ root system. The $E_8$ construction also induces transitive actions of the Weyl groups of type $D_n$ on the packings for $5 \leq n \leq 8$, and these actions are faithful for $n < 8$. It is possible to define both the signed permutation action and the partial order using the combinatorics of labelled Fano planes.
A decomposition theorem for Lefschetz modules
A Lefschetz module is a module over a graded algebra $A$ that satisfies analogues of Poincaré duality, the Hard Lefschetz property, and the Hodge--Riemann relations with respect to an open convex cone $\mathscr{K}$ in the degree one part of $A$. We analyze its decomposition into indecomposable modules over subrings of $A$ that are generated by elements in the closure of $\mathscr{K}$, establishing structural results that parallel the decomposition theorem for morphisms of complex projective varieties. We use our theorems to recover key statements in combinatorial Hodge theory and illuminate the Hodge-theoretic aspects of the decomposition theorem in algebraic geometry.
Orthogonal roots, quantum Hafnians, and generalized Rothe diagrams
Let $U$ be a set of positive roots of type $ADE$, and let $Ω_U$ be the set of all maximum cardinality orthogonal subsets of $U$. For each element $R \in Ω_U$, we define a generalized Rothe diagram whose cardinality we call the level, $ρ(R)$, of $R$. We define the generalized quantum Hafnian of $U$ to be the generating function of $ρ$, regarded as a $q$-polynomial in $U$. Several widely studied algebraic and combinatorial objects arise as special cases of these constructions, and in many cases, $Ω_U$ has the structure of a graded partially ordered set with rank function $ρ$. A motivating example of the construction involves a certain set of $k^2$ roots in type $D_{2k}$, where the elements of $Ω_U$ correspond to permutations in $S_k$, the generalized Rothe diagrams are the traditional Rothe diagrams associated to permutations, the level of a permutation is its length, the generalized quantum Hafnian is the $q$-permanent, and the partial order is the Bruhat order. We exhibit many other natural examples of this construction, including one involving perfect matchings, two involving labelled Fano planes, and one involving the invariant cubic form in type $E_6$.

For fixed positive integers $n,m$, let $\mathrm{Mat}_{n\times m}(\mathbb{C})$ be the affine space consisting of all $n\times m$ complex matrices, and let $\mathbb{C}[\mathbf{x}_{n\times m}]$ be its coordinate ring. For $0\le r\le\min\{m,n\}$, we apply the orbit harmonics method to the finite matrix loci $\mathcal{Z}_{n,m,r}$ of rook placements with exactly $r$ rooks, yielding a graded $\mathfrak{S}_n\times\mathfrak{S}_m$-module $R(\mathcal{Z}_{n,m,r})$. We find one signed and two sign-free graded character formulae for $R(\mathcal{Z}_{n,m,r})$. We also exhibit some applications of these formulae, such as proving a concise presentation of $R(\mathcal{Z}_{n,m,r})$, and proving some module injections and isomorphisms. Some of our techniques are still valid for involution matrix loci.

We reprove the generalized Nandakumar-Ramana Rao conjecture for the prime case using representation ring-graded Bredon cohomology. Our approach relies solely on the $RO(C_p)$-graded cohomology of configuration spaces, viewed as a module over the $RO(C_p)$-graded Bredon cohomology of a point.
An extension of Viennot's shadow to rook placements via orbit harmonics
For fixed positive integers $n,m,r$, let $\mathrm{Mat}_{n \times m}(\mathbb{C})$ be the affine space of $n \times m$ complex matrices with coordinate ring $\mathbb{C}[\mathbf{x}_{n \times m}]$. We define a homogeneous ideal $I_{n,m,r}$, where the graded quotient $\mathbb{C}[\mathbf{x}_{n \times m}]/I_{n,m,r}$ is obtained from the orbit harmonics deformation of the matrix loci corresponding to all rook placements of size at least $r$. By extending rook placements to elements in $\mathfrak{S}_{n+m-r}$ and applying Viennot's shadow line avatar of the Schensted correspondence, we compute the standard monomial basis of the quotient $\mathbb{C}[\mathbf{x}_{n \times m}]/I_{n,m,r}$ with respect to diagonal monomial orders. We also determine the graded $\mathfrak{S}_n\times\mathfrak{S}_m$-module structure of $\mathbb{C}[\mathbf{x}_{n \times m}]/I_{n,m,r}$.
Operads and bialgebras of multi-indices, and Novikov algebras
Noncommutative multi-indices are noncommutative monomials in a $\mathbb{N}$-indexed family of indeterminates. We define on them a $\mathbb{Z}$-graded operadic structure, with the help of a shifting derivation. Multi-indices of degree 0 are called populated: they form a suboperad, isomorphic to the operad of Novikov algebras. This operadic structure, and the relation between pre-Lie and Novikov algebras, induces two bialgebraic structure in cointeraction on commutative multi-indices. We show how to combinatorially embed this double bialgebra into the Connes-Kreimer Hopf algebra of rooted trees, with its two coproducts based, firstly on cuts, secondly, on contraction of edges, and how this embedding can be characterized by a Dyson-Schwinger equation. We also study the unique polynomial invariant compatible with the two bialgebraic structures on multi-indices and use to describe the antipode for the first coproduct.

Two confluent rewriting systems in noncommutatives polynomials are constructed using the equations allowing the identification of the local coordinates (of second kind) of the graphs of the $ζ$ polymorphism as being (shuffle or quasi-shuffle) characters and bridging two algebraic structures of polyzetas. In each system, the left side of each rewriting rule corresponds to the leading monomial of the associated homogeneous in weight polynomial while the right side is canonically represented on the Q-algebra generated by irreducible terms which encode an algebraic basis of the Q-algebra of polyzetas. These polynomials are totally lexicographically ordered and generate the kernels of the $ζ$ polymorphism meaning that the Q-free algebra of polyzetas is graded and the irreducible polyzetas are transcendent numbers, Q-algebraically independent, and then $π$ 2 is Q-algebraically independent on odd zeta values (so does $π$).
Hyperlogarithms: Functions on Free Monoids
To factorize and to decompose the graphs of representative functions on the free monoid X * (generated by the alphabet X ) with values in the ring A containing Q, we examine various products of series (as concatenation, shuffle and its $φ$ -deformations) and co-products, which are such that their associated non graded bialgebras are isomorphic, for A is a field K, to the Sweedler's dual of the graded noncommutative co-commutative K-bialgebra of polynomials.

In this paper, we study a class $\mathcal{C}$ of squarefree monomial ideals $I\subseteq R=\mathbb{K}[x_1,\dots,x_n]$ over a field $\mathbb{K}$, defined by the condition that $\dim R/I$ equals the maximum degree of the minimal generators of $I$ minus one. We show that the Stanley-Reisner ideal of every $i$-skeleton of a simplicial complex $Δ$ belongs to $\mathcal{C}$ for all $-1\le i<\dimΔ$. To investigate their homological properties, we introduce the notion of a degree resolution and prove that every ideal in $\mathcal{C}$ possesses this property. Moreover, we show that every squarefree monomial ideal admits a truncation whose regularity coincides with that of the original ideal, thereby reducing the study of degree resolutions to that of linear resolutions. Finally, we provide an explicit formula describing the relationship between the graded Betti numbers of a simplicial complex and those of its skeletons.
Extending the ab-index
We prove for finite, graded, bounded posets, that the Poincaré-extended ab-index is obtained from the ab-index via the omega-transformation. This proves a conjecture by Dorpalen-Barry, Maglione, and the second author, and provides a more conceptual approach to ab-indices and Chow polynomials beyond R-labeled posets.
Representation Theoretic Bases for the $Δ$-Springer Module
We give a descent monomial basis of $Δ$-Springer modules $R_{n,λ,s}$, first defined by Griffin. Our construction simultaneously generalizes the descent basis for the Garsia-Procesi module $R_λ$ studied by Carlsson-Chou and Hanada, as well as the descent basis for the generalized coinvariant algebras $R_{n,k}$ studied by Haglund-Rhoades-Shimozono. This basis is deeply connected with a combinatorial object called battery-powered tableaux, introduced by Gillespie-Griffin. We highlight the representation theoretic properties of this monomial basis by using it to give a direct combinatorial proof of the graded Frobenius character of $R_{n,λ,s}$ in terms of battery-powered tableaux, a fact which has only the geometric proof of Gillespie-Griffin.
We also conjecture a higher Specht basis of $R_{n,λ,s}$, generalizing the higher Specht basis of the coinvariant ring defined in Ariki-Terasoma-Yamada. This construction coincides with the Gillespie-Rhoades higher Specht basis for $R_{n,k}$. We give a proof for when $λ= (λ_1,λ_2)$ is a partition of two rows.
Classification and Ideal Lattices of Leavitt Path Algebras
Leavitt path algebras are free algebras subject to relations induced by directed graphs. This paper investigates the ideals of Leavitt path algebras, with an emphasis on the relationship between graph-theoretic properties of a directed graph and the ideals of the associated Leavitt path algebra. We begin by presenting a new proof of a fundamental result characterizing graded and non-graded ideals of a Leavitt path algebra using a condition on the number of closed paths at each vertex in its directed graph. Appealing to this result, we then classify the Leavitt path algebras of directed graphs with two vertices up to isomorphism and determine all possible lattice structures of a class of well-behaved ideals possessed by such algebras.
Reconstrucion of oriented matroids from Varchenko-Gelfand algebras

The algebra of $R$-valued functions on the set of chambers of a real hyperplane arrangement is called the Varchenko-Gelfand (VG) algebra. This algebra carries a natural filtration by the degree with respect to Heaviside functions, giving rise to the associated graded VG algebra. When the coefficient ring $R$ is an integral domain of characteristic $2$, the graded VG algebra is known to be isomorphic to the Orlik-Solomon algebra. In this paper, we study VG algebras over coefficient rings of characteristic different from $2$, and investigate to what extent VG algebras determine the underlying oriented matroid structures.
Our main results concern hyperplane arrangements that are generic in codimension $2$. For such arrangements, if $R$ is an integral domain of characteristic not equal to $2$, then the oriented matroid can be recovered from both the filtered and the graded VG algebras. As a byproduct, we prove that, unlike the complexification, the cohomology ring of the complement of a $3$-plexification of a real arrangement is not determined by the intersection lattice.
We also formulate an algorithm that is expected to reconstruct oriented matroids from VG algebras in the case of general arrangements.
