On exchange matrices from string diagrams
Inspired by Fock-Goncharov's amalgamation procedure \cite{Fock-Goncharov-2006}, Shen-Weng introduced string diagrams in \cite{Shen-Weng-2021}, which are very useful to describe many interesting skew-symmetrizable matrices closely related with Lie theory. In this paper, we prove that the skew-symmetrizable matrices from string diagrams are in the smallest class $\mathcal P^\prime$ of skew-symmetrizable matrices containing the $1\times 1$ zero matrix and closed under mutations and source-sink extensions. This result applies to the exchange matrices of cluster algebras from double Bruhat cells, unipotent cells, double Bott-Samelson cells and so on.
Our main result can be used to explain why many skew-symmetrizable matrices from Lie theory have reddening sequences. It can be also used to prove some interesting results regarding non-degenerate potentials on many quivers from Lie theory.

We describe a family of compactifications of the space of Bridgeland stability conditions of any triangulated category following earlier work by Bapat, Deopurkar, and Licata. We particularly consider the case of the 2-Calabi--Yau category of the $A_2$ quiver. The compactification is the closure of an embedding (depending on $q$) of the stability space into an infinite-dimensional projective space.
In the $A_2$ case, the three-strand braid group $B_3$ acts on this closure. We describe two distinguished braid group orbits in the boundary, points of which can be identified with certain rational functions in $q$. Points in one of the orbits are exactly the $q$-deformed rational numbers recently introduced by Morier-Genoud and Ovsienko, while the other orbit gives a new $q$-deformation of the rational numbers. Specialising $q$ to a positive real number, we obtain a complete description of the boundary of the compactification.

In [Dugan-Glennon-Gunnells-Steingrimsson-2019], the authors introduce tiered trees to define combinatorial objects counting absolutely indecomposable representations of certain quivers, and torus orbits on certain homogeneous varieties. In this paper, we use Theta operators, introduced in [D'Adderio-Iraci-VandenWyngaerd-Theta-2021], to give a symmetric function formula that enumerates these trees. We then formulate a general conjecture that extends this result, a special case of which might give some insight about how to formulate a unified Delta conjecture [Haglund-Remmel-Wilson-2018].
Quivers from non-orientable surfaces
We associate a quiver to a quasi-triangulation of a non-orientable marked surface and define a notion of quiver mutation that is compatible with quasi-cluster algebra mutation defined by Dupont and Palesi. Moreover, we use our quiver to show the unistructurality of the quasi-cluster algebra arising from the Mobius strip.

We present a review on the recently discovered link between the Lie theory, the theory of quiver Grassmannians, and various degenerations of flag varieties. Our starting point is the induced Poincaré--Birkhoff--Witt filtration on the highest weight representations and the corresponding PBW degenerate flag varieties.
Quiver combinatorics for higher-dimensional triangulations
We investigate the combinatorics of quivers that arise from triangulations of even-dimensional cyclic polytopes. Work of Oppermann and Thomas pinpoints such quivers as the prototypes for higher-dimensional cluster theory. We first show that a $2d$-dimensional triangulation has no interior $(d + 1)$-simplices if and only if its quiver is a cut quiver of type $A$, in the sense of Iyama and Oppermann. This is a higher-dimensional generalisation of the fact that triangulations of polygons with no interior triangles correspond to orientations of an $A_{n}$ Dynkin diagram. An application of this first result is that the set of triangulations of a $2d$-dimensional cyclic polytope with no interior $(d + 1)$-simplices is connected via bistellar flips -- the higher-dimensional analogue of flipping a diagonal inside a quadrilateral. In dimensions higher than 2, bistellar flips cannot be performed at all locations in a triangulation. Our second result gives a quiver-theoretic criterion for performing bistellar flips on a triangulation of a $2d$-dimensional cyclic polytope. This provides a visual tool for studying mutability of higher-dimensional triangulations and points towards what a theory of higher-dimensional quiver mutation could look like. Indeed, we apply this result to give a rule for mutating cut quivers at vertices which are not necessarily sinks or sources.
Coefficient Quivers, $\mathbb{F}_1$-Representations, and Euler Characteristics of Quiver Grassmannians

A quiver representation assigns a vector space to each vertex, and a linear map to each arrow. When one considers the category $\textrm{Vect}(\mathbb{F}_1)$ of vector spaces ``over $\mathbb{F}_1$'' (the field with one element), one obtains $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations of a quiver. In this paper, we study representations of a quiver over the field with one element in connection to coefficient quivers. To be precise, we prove that the category $\textrm{Rep}(Q,\mathbb{F}_1)$ is equivalent to the (suitably defined) category of coefficient quivers over $Q$. This provides a conceptual way to see Euler characteristics of a class of quiver Grassmannians as the number of ``$\mathbb{F}_1$-rational points'' of quiver Grassmannians. We generalize techniques originally developed for string and band modules to compute the Euler characteristics of quiver Grassmannians associated to $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations. These techniques apply to a large class of $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations, which we call the $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations with finite nice length: we prove sufficient conditions for an $\mathbb{F}_1$-representation to have finite nice length, and classify such representations for certain families of quivers. Finally, we explore the Hall algebras associated to $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations of quivers. We answer the question of how a change in orientation affects the Hall algebra of nilpotent $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations of a quiver with bounded representation type. We also discuss Hall algebras associated to representations with finite nice length, and compute them for certain families of quivers.

In previous work, we initiated the study of the cohomology of locally acyclic cluster varieties. In the present work, we show that the mixed Hodge structure and point counts of acyclic cluster varieties are essentially determined by the combinatorics of the independent sets of the quiver. We use this to show that the mixed Hodge numbers of acyclic cluster varieties of really full rank satisfy a strong vanishing condition.
Divisors on complete multigraphs and Donaldson-Thomas invariants of loop quivers
We study the action of $S_n$ on the set of break divisors on complete multigraphs $K_{n}^m$. We provide an alternative characterization for these divisors, by virtue of which we show that orbits of this action are enumerated by the numerical Donaldson-Thomas invariants of $(m+1)$-loop quivers. Our characterization also allows us to restrict this action to $S_{n-1}$ and we identify the resulting $S_{n-1}$-module as that afforded by $K_n^m$-parking functions.

We establish and develop a correspondence between certain crystal bases (Kashiwara crystals) and the Coulomb branch of three-dimensional $ \mathcal{N} =4 $ gauge theories. The result holds for simply-laced, non-simply laced and affine quivers. Two equivalent derivations are given in the non-simply laced case, either by application of the axiomatic rules or by folding a simply-laced quiver. We also study the effect of turning on real masses and the ensuing simplification of the crystal. We present a multitude of explicit examples of the equivalence. Finally, we put forward a correspondence between infinite crystals and Hilbert spaces of theories with isolated vacua.
Knot theory and cluster algebras

We establish a connection between knot theory and cluster algebras via representation theory. To every knot diagram (or link diagram), we associate a cluster algebra by constructing a quiver with potential. The rank of the cluster algebra is $2n$, where $n$ is the number of crossing points in the knot diagram. We then construct $2n$ indecomposable modules $T(i)$ over the Jacobian algebra of the quiver with potential. For each $T(i)$, we show that the submodule lattice is isomorphic to the corresponding lattice of Kauffman states. We then give a realization of the Alexander polynomial of the knot as a specialization of the $F$-polynomial of $T(i)$, for every $i$. Furthermore, we conjecture that the collection of the $T(i)$ forms a cluster in the cluster algebra whose quiver is isomorphic to the opposite of the initial quiver, and that the resulting cluster automorphism is of order two.
A geometric model for syzygies over 2-Calabi-Yau tilted algebras II

In this article, we continue the study of a certain family of 2-Calabi-Yau tilted algebras, called dimer tree algebras. The terminology comes from the fact that these algebras can also be realized as quotients of dimer algebras on a disc. They are defined by a quiver with potential whose dual graph is a tree, and they are generally of wild representation type. Given such an algebra $B$, we construct a polygon $\mathcal{S}$ with a checkerboard pattern in its interior, that defines a category $\text{Diag}(\mathcal{S})$. The indecomposable objects of $\text{Diag}(\mathcal{S})$ are the 2-diagonals in $\mathcal{S}$, and its morphisms are certain pivoting moves between the 2-diagonals. We prove that the category $\text{Diag}(\mathcal{S})$ is equivalent to the stable syzygy category of the algebra $B$. This result was conjectured by the authors in an earlier paper, where it was proved in the special case where every chordless cycle is of length three.
As a consequence, we conclude that the number of indecomposable syzygies is finite, and moreover the syzygy category is equivalent to the 2-cluster category of type $\mathbb{A}$. In addition, we obtain an explicit description of the projective resolutions, which are periodic. Finally, the number of vertices of the polygon $\mathcal{S}$ is a derived invariant and a singular invariant for dimer tree algebras, which can be easily computed form the quiver.
$\imath$Hall algebras of weighted projective lines and quantum symmetric pairs

The $\imath$Hall algebra of a weighted projective line is defined to be the semi-derived Ringel-Hall algebra of the category of $1$-periodic complexes of coherent sheaves on the weighted projective line over a finite field. We show that this Hall algebra provides a realization of the $\imath$quantum loop algebra, which is a generalization of the $\imath$quantum group arising from the quantum symmetric pair of split affine type ADE in its Drinfeld type presentation. The $\imath$Hall algebra of the $\imath$quiver algebra of split affine type A was known earlier to realize the same algebra in its Serre presentation. We then establish a derived equivalence which induces an isomorphism of these two $\imath$Hall algebras, explaining the isomorphism of the $\imath$quantum group of split affine type A under the two presentations.

We consider an "orientifold" generalization of Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras, depending on a quiver with an involution and a framing. Their representation theory is related, via a Schur-Weyl duality type functor, to Kac-Moody quantum symmetric pairs, and, via a categorification theorem, to highest weight modules over an algebra introduced by Enomoto and Kashiwara. Our first main result is a new shuffle realization of these highest weight modules and a combinatorial construction of their PBW and canonical bases in terms of Lyndon words. Our second main result is a classification of irreducible representations of orientifold KLR algebras and a computation of their global dimension in the case when the framing is trivial.

We give a representation-theoretic bijection between rooted labeled forests with $n$ vertices and complete exceptional sequences for the quiver of type $A_n$ with straight orientation. The ascending and descending vertices in the forest correspond to relatively injective and relatively projective objects in the exceptional sequence. We conclude that every object in an exceptional sequence for linearly oriented $A_n$ is either relatively projective or relatively injective or both. We construct a natural action of the extended braid group on rooted labeled forests and show that it agrees with the known action of the braid group on complete exceptional sequences. We also describe the action of $Δ$, the Garside element of the braid group, on rooted labeled forests using representation theory and show how this relates to cluster theory.

Postnikov constructed a cellular decomposition of the totally nonnegative Grassmannians. The poset of cells can be described (in particular) via Grassmann necklaces. We study certain quiver Grassmannians for the cyclic quiver admitting a cellular decomposition, whose cells are naturally labeled by Grassmann necklaces. We show that the posets of cells coincide with the reversed cell posets of the cellular decomposition of the totally nonnegative Grassmannians. We investigate algebro-geometric and combinatorial properties of these quiver Grassmannians. In particular, we describe the irreducible components, study the action of the automorphism groups of the underlying representations and describe the moment graphs. We also construct a resolution of singularities for each irreducible component; the resolutions are defined as quiver Grassmannians for an extended cyclic quiver.

Consider a 2-Calabi--Yau triangulated category with a Bridgeland stability condition. We devise an effective procedure to reduce the phase spread of an object by applying spherical twists. Using this, we give new proofs of the following theorems for 2-Calabi--Yau categories associated to ADE quivers: (1) all spherical objects lie in a single orbit of the braid group, and (2) the space of Bridgeland stability conditions is connected.
Mutations of reflections and existence of pseudo-acyclic orderings for type $A_n$
In a recent paper by K.-H. Lee, K. Lee and M. Mills, a mutation of reflections in the universal Coxeter group is defined in association with a mutation of a quiver. A matrix representation of these reflections is determined by a linear ordering on the set of vertices of the quiver. It was conjectured that there exists an ordering (called a pseudo-acyclic ordering in this paper) such that whenever two mutation sequences of a quiver lead to the same labeled seed, the representations of the associated reflections also coincide. In this paper, we prove this conjecture for every quiver mutation-equivalent to an orientation of a type $A_n$ Dynkin diagram by decomposing a mutation sequence into a product of elementary swaps and checking relations studied by Barot and Marsh.
Deformations of cluster mutations and invariant presymplectic forms

We consider deformations of sequences of cluster mutations in finite type cluster algebras, which destroy the Laurent property but preserve the presymplectic structure defined by the exchange matrix. The simplest example is the Lyness 5-cycle, arising from the cluster algebra of type $A_2$: this deforms to the Lyness family of integrable symplectic maps in the plane. For types $A_3$ and $A_4$ we find suitable conditions such that the deformation produces a two-parameter family of Liouville integrable maps (in dimensions two and four, respectively). We also perform Laurentification for these maps, by lifting them to a higher-dimensional space of tau functions with a cluster algebra structure, where the Laurent property is restored. More general types of deformed mutations associated with affine Dynkin quivers are shown to correspond to four-dimensional symplectic maps arising as reductions of the discrete sine-Gordon equation.
Double Rim Hook Cluster Algebras
We describe an infinite family of non-Plücker cluster variables inside the double Bruhat cell cluster algebra defined by Berenstein, Fomin, and Zelevinsky. These cluster variables occur in a family of subalgebras of the double Bruhat cell cluster algebra which we call Double Rim Hook (DRH) cluster algebras. We discover that all of the cluster variables are determinants of matrices of special form. We conjecture that all the cluster variables of the double Bruhat-cell cluster algebra have similar determinant form. We notice the resemblance between our staircase diagram and Auslander-Reiten quivers.
