The box-ball system (BBS) is a cellular automaton that is an ultradiscrete analogue of the Korteweg--de Vries equation, a non-linear PDE used to model water waves. In 2001, Hikami and Inoue generalised the BBS to the general linear Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{gl}(m|n)$. We further generalise the Hikami--Inoue BBS to column tableaux using the Kirillov--Reshetikhin crystals for $\hat{\mathfrak{gl}}{(m|n)}$ devised by Kwon and Okado (arXiv:1804.05456), where we find similar solitonic behaviour under certain conditions.

To a finite type knot invariant, a weight system can be associated, which is a function on chord diagrams satisfying so-called $4$-term relations. In the opposite direction, each weight system determines a finite type knot invariant. In particular, a weight system can be associated to any metrized Lie algebra, and any metrized Lie superalgebra. However, computation of these weight systems is complicated. In the recent paper by the present author, an extension of the $\mathfrak{gl}(N)$-weight system to arbitrary permutations is defined, which allows one to develop a recurrence relation for an efficient computation of its values. In addition, the result proves to be universal, valid for all values of $N$ and allowing thus to define a unifying $\mathfrak{gl}$-weight system taking values in the ring of polynomials in infinitely many variables $C_0=N,C_1,C_2,\dots$. In the present paper, we extend this construction to the weight system associated to the Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{gl}(m|n)$. Then we prove that the $\mathfrak{gl}(m|n)$-weight system is equivalent to the $\mathfrak{gl}$-one, under the substitution $C_0=m-n$.
How to Construct the Lattice of Submodules of a Multiplicity free Module from Partial Information
In general it is a difficult problem to construct the lattice of submodules $L(M)$ of a given module $M$. In \cite{St} R. P. Stanley outlined a method for constucting a distributive lattice from a knowledge of its join irreducibles. However it is not an easy task to identify all join irreducible submodules of a given module. In the case of a multiplicity free module $M$ we present a modifiiction of Stanley's method based on the composition factors of $M$. As input we require a set of submodules $A_1,\ldots , A_n$ whose submodule lattices are known and which contain all composition factors of $M$. From this we can reconstruct $L(M)$. We illustrate the process for a family of Verma modules $M(\gl_n)$, with $n $ a positive integer, for the Lie superalgebra $\osp(3,2)$. We show that for $n\ge 2$, $L(M(\gl_n))$ is isomorphic to the (extended) free distributive lattice of rank 3.

Work of Grantcharov et al. develops a theory of abstract crystals for the queer Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{q}_n$. Such $\mathfrak{q}_n$-crystals form a monoidal category in which the connected normal objects have unique highest weight elements and characters that are Schur $P$-polynomials. This article studies a modified form of this category, whose connected normal objects again have unique highest weight elements but now possess characters that are Schur $Q$-polynomials. The crystals in this category have some interesting features not present for ordinary $\mathfrak{q}_n$-crystals. For example, there is an extra crystal operator, a different tensor product, and an action of the hyperoctahedral group exchanging highest and lowest weight elements. There are natural examples of $\mathfrak{q}_n$-crystal structures on certain families of shifted tableaux and factorized reduced words. We describe extended forms of these structures that give similar examples in our new category.

This paper presents a combinatorial study of the super plactic monoid of type A, which is related to the representations of the general linear Lie superalgebra. We introduce the analogue of the Schützenberger's jeu de taquin on the structure of super tableaux over a signed alphabet. We show that this procedure which transforms super skew tableaux into super Young tableaux is compatible with the super plactic congruence and it is confluent. We deduce properties relating the super jeu de taquin to insertion algorithms on super tableaux. Moreover, we introduce the super evacuation procedure as an involution on super tableaux and we show its compatibility with the super plactic congruence. Finally, we describe the super jeu de taquin in terms of Fomin's growth diagrams in order to give a combinatorial version of the super Littlewood--Richardson rule.

Let $\mathfrak g$ be a Borcherds-Kac-Moody Lie superalgebra (BKM superalgebra in short) with the associated graph $G$. Any such $\mathfrak g$ is constructed from a free Lie superalgebra by introducing three different sets of relations on the generators:
(1) Chevalley relations,
(2) Serre relations, and
(3) Commutation relations coming from the graph $G$. By Chevalley relations we get a triangular decomposition $\mathfrak g = \mathfrak{ n_+} \oplus \mathfrak h \oplus \mathfrak n_{-}$ and each roots space $\mathfrak{ g_α}$ is either contained in $\mathfrak{n_+}$ or $\mathfrak{ n_{-}}$. In particular, each $\mathfrak{ g_α}$ involves only the relations (2) and (3). In this paper, we are interested in the root spaces of $\mathfrak g$ which are independent of the Serre relations. We call these roots free roots$^{1}$ of $\mathfrak g$. Since these root spaces involve only commutation relations coming from the graph $G$ we can study them combinatorially. We use heaps of pieces to study these roots and prove many combinatorial properties. We construct two different bases for these root spaces of $\mathfrak g$: One by extending the Lalonde's Lyndon heap basis of free partially commutative Lie algebras to the case of free partially commutative Lie superalgebras and the other by extending the basis given in \cite{akv17} for the free root spaces of Borcherds algebras to the case of BKM superalgebras. This is done by studying the combinatorial properties of super Lyndon heaps. We also discuss a few other combinatorial properties of free roots.
Ribbon tiling and character formula for periplectic Lie superalgebras
We give a combinatorial formula for the character of a finite-dimensional irreducible representation of the periplectic Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{p}(n)$. The character of irreducible module $L(μ)$ is given by a cancellation-free alternating sum over the characters of thick or thin Kac modules, $Δ(λ)$ or $\nabla(λ)$, such that there exists a ribbon tiling of a skew Young diagram $λ/μ$.

In this text we introduce and analyze families of symmetric functions arising as partition functions for colored fermionic vertex models associated with the quantized affine Lie superalgebra $U_q \big( \widehat{\mathfrak{sl}} (1 | n) \big)$. We establish various combinatorial results for these vertex models and symmetric functions, which include the following.
(1) We apply the fusion procedure to the fundamental $R$-matrix for $U_q \big( \widehat{\mathfrak{sl}} (1 | n) \big)$ to obtain an explicit family of vertex weights satisfying the Yang-Baxter equation.
(2) We define families of symmetric functions as partition functions for colored, fermionic vertex models under these fused weights. We further establish several combinatorial properties for these symmetric functions, such as branching rules and Cauchy identities.
(3) We show that the Lascoux-Leclerc-Thibon (LLT) polynomials arise as special cases of these symmetric functions. This enables us to show both old and new properties about the LLT polynomials, including Cauchy identities, contour integral formulas, stability properties, and branching rules under a certain family of plethystic transformations.
(4) A different special case of our symmetric functions gives rise to a new family of polynomials called factorial LLT polynomials. We show they generalize the LLT polynomials, while also satisfying a vanishing condition reminiscent of that satisfied by the factorial Schur functions.
(5) By considering our vertex model on a cylinder, we obtain fermionic partition function formulas for both the symmetric and nonsymmetric Macdonald polynomials.
(6) We prove combinatorial formulas for the coefficients of the LLT polynomials when expanded in the modified Hall-Littlewood basis, as partition functions for a $U_q \big( \widehat{\mathfrak{sl}} (2 | n) \big)$ vertex model.
Hilbert series of typical representations for Lie superalgebras
Let g be a basic classical Lie superalgebra over C. In the case of a typical weight whose every nonnegative integer multiple is also typical, we compute a closed form for the Hilbert series whose coefficients encode the dimensions of finite-dimensional irreducible typical g-representations. We give a formula for this Hilbert series in terms of elementary symmetric polynomials and Eulerian polynomials. Additionally, we show a simple closed form in terms of differential operators.

Let $(V,ω)$ be an orthosympectic $\mathbb Z_2$-graded vector space and let $\mathfrak g:=\mathfrak{gosp}(V,ω)$ denote the Lie superalgebra of similitudes of $(V,ω)$. When the space $\mathscr P(V)$ of superpolynomials on $V$ is \emph{not} a completely reducible $\mathfrak g$-module, we construct a natural basis $D_λ$ of Capelli operators for the algebra of $\mathfrak g$-invariant superpolynomial superdifferential operators on $V$, where the index set $\mathcal P$ is the set of integer partitions of length at most two. We compute the action of the operators $D_λ$ on maximal indecomposable components of $\mathscr P(V)$ explicitly, in terms of Knop-Sahi interpolation polynomials. Our results show that, unlike the cases where $\mathscr P(V)$ is completely reducible, the eigenvalues of a subfamily of the $D_λ$ are \emph{not} given by specializing the Knop-Sahi polynomials. Rather, the formulas for these eigenvalues involve suitably regularized forms of these polynomials. In addition, we demonstrate a close relationship between our eigenvalue formulas for this subfamily of Capelli operators and the Dougall-Ramanujan hypergeometric identity.
We also transcend our results on the eigenvalues of Capelli operators to the Deligne category $\mathsf{Rep}(O_t)$. More precisely, we define categorical Capelli operators $\{\mathbf D_{t,λ}\}_{λ\in\mathcal P}^{}$ that induce morphisms of indecomposable components of symmetric powers of $\mathsf V_t$, where $\mathsf V_t$ is the generating object of $\mathsf{Rep}(O_t)$. We obtain formulas for the eigenvalue polynomials associated to the $\left\{\mathbf D_{t,λ}\right\}_{λ\in\mathcal P}$ that are analogous to our results for the operators $\{D_λ\}_{λ\in\mathcal P}^{}$.

We study a particular class of infinite-dimensional representations of $\mathfrak{osp}(1|2n)$. These representations $L_n(p)$ are characterized by a positive integer $p$, and are the lowest component in the $p$-fold tensor product of the metaplectic representation of $\mathfrak{osp}(1|2n)$. We construct a new polynomial basis for $L_n(p)$ arising from the embedding $\mathfrak{osp}(1|2np) \supset \mathfrak{osp}(1|2n)$. The basis vectors of $L_n(p)$ are labelled by semi-standard Young tableaux, and are expressed as Clifford algebra valued polynomials with integer coefficients in $np$ variables. Using combinatorial properties of these tableau vectors it is deduced that they form indeed a basis. The computation of matrix elements of a set of generators of $\mathfrak{osp}(1|2n)$ on these basis vectors requires further combinatorics, such as the action of a Young subgroup on the horizontal strips of the tableau.

Results of Morse and Schilling show that the set of increasing factorizations of reduced words for a permutation is naturally a crystal for the general linear Lie algebra. Hiroshima has recently constructed two superalgebra analogues of such crystals. Specifically, Hiroshima has shown that the sets of increasing factorizations of involution words and fpf-involution words for a self-inverse permutation are each crystals for the queer Lie superalgebra. In this paper, we prove that these crystals are normal and identify their connected components. To accomplish this, we study two insertion algorithms that may be viewed as shifted analogues of the Edelman-Greene correspondence. We prove that the connected components of Hiroshima's crystals are the subsets of factorizations with the same insertion tableau for these algorithms, and that passing to the recording tableau defines a crystal morphism. This confirms a conjecture of Hiroshima. Our methods involve a detailed investigation of certain analogues of the Little map, through which we extend several results of Hamaker and Young.

It is shown that the direct limit of the semistandard decomposition tableau model for polynomial representations of the queer Lie superalgebra exists, which is believed to be the crystal for the upper half of the corresponding quantum group. An extension of this model to describe the direct limit combinatorially is given. Furthermore, it is shown that the polynomial representations may be recovered from the limit in most cases.

Crystal basis theory for the queer Lie superalgebra was developed by Grantcharov et al. and it was shown that semistandard decomposition tableaux admit the structure of crystals for the queer Lie superalgebra or simply $\mathfrak{q}$-crystal structure. In this paper, we explore the $\mathfrak{q}$-crystal structure of primed tableaux (semistandard marked shifted tableaux) and that of signed unimodal factorizations of reduced words of type $B$. We give the explicit odd Kashiwara operators on primed tableaux and the forms of the highest and lowest weight vectors. We also give the explicit algorithms for odd Kashiwara operators on signed unimodal factorizations of reduced words of type $B$.
The Push the button algorithm for contragredient Lie superalgebras
The purpose of the present paper is to explain how the push the button algorithm can be successfully applied to the Vogan superdiagram associated to a contragredient Lie superalgebra, so to obtain the equivalent super version of the Borel-De Siebenthal Theorem.

We study plane partitions satisfying condition $a_{n+1,m+1}=0$ (this condition is called "pit") and asymptotic conditions along three coordinate axes. We find the formulas for generating function of such plane partitions.
Such plane partitions label the basis vectors in certain representations of quantum toroidal $\mathfrak{gl}_1$ algebra, therefore our formulas can be interpreted as the characters of these representations. The resulting formulas resemble formulas for characters of tensor representations of Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{gl}_{m|n}$. We discuss representation theoretic interpretation of our formulas using $q$-deformed $W$-algebra $\mathfrak{gl}_{m|n}$.
Feynman identity for planar graphs

The Feynman identity (FI) of a planar graph relates the Euler polynomial of the graph to an infinite product over the equivalence classes of closed nonperiodic signed cycles in the graph. The main objectives of this paper are to compute the number of equivalence classes of nonperiodic cycles of given length and sign in a planar graph and to interpret the data encoded by the FI in the context of free Lie superalgebras. This solves in the case of planar graphs a problem first raised by S. Sherman and sets the FI as the denominator identity of a free Lie superalgebra generated from a graph. Other results are obtained. For instance, in connection with zeta functions of graphs.

The main goal of our paper is to establish a connection between the Weyl modules of the current Lie superalgebras (twisted and untwisted) attached to $\mathfrak{osp}(1,2)$ and the nonsymmetric Macdonald polynomials of types $A_2^{(2)}$ and $A_2^{(2)\dagger}$. We compute the dimensions and construct bases of the Weyl modules. We also derive explicit formulas for the t=0 and t=\infty specializations of the nonsymmetric Macdonald polynomials. We show that the specializations can be described in terms of the Lie superalgebras action on the Weyl modules.

We describe the algebra of invariants of the vacuum module associated with the affinization of the Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{gl}(1|1)$. We give a formula for its Hilbert--Poincaré series in a fermionic (cancellation-free) form which turns out to coincide with the generating function of the plane partitions over the $(1,1)$-hook. Our arguments are based on a super version of the Beilinson--Drinfeld--Raïs--Tauvel theorem which we prove by producing an explicit basis of invariants of the symmetric algebra of polynomial currents associated with $\mathfrak{gl}(1|1)$. We identify the invariants with affine supersymmetric polynomials via a version of the Chevalley theorem.
