The purpose of this paper is to prove a Pieri-type multiplication formula for quantum Grothendieck polynomials, which was conjectured by Lenart-Maeno. This formula would enable us to compute explicitly the quantum product of two arbitrary (opposite) Schubert classes in the (small) quantum $K$-theory ring $QK(Fl_{n})$ of the (full) flag manifold $Fl_{n}$ of type $A_{n-1}$ on the basis of the fact that quantum Grothendieck polynomials represent (opposite) Schubert classes in $QK(Fl_{n})$.

In their study of Jack polynomials, Nazarov-Sklyanin introduced a remarkable new graded linear operator ${\mathcal L} \colon F[w] \rightarrow F[w]$ where $F$ is the ring of symmetric functions and $w$ is a variable. In this paper, we (1) establish a cyclic decomposition $F[w] \cong \bigoplus_λ Z(j_λ, {\mathcal L})$ into finite-dimensional ${\mathcal L}$-cyclic subspaces in which Jack polynomials $j_λ$ may be taken as cyclic vectors and (2) prove that the restriction of ${\mathcal L}$ to each $Z(j_λ, {\mathcal L})$ has simple spectrum given by the anisotropic contents $[s]$ of the addable corners $s$ of the Young diagram of $λ$. Our proofs of (1) and (2) rely on the commutativity and spectral theorem for the integrable hierarchy associated to ${\mathcal L}$, both established by Nazarov-Sklyanin. Finally, we conjecture that the ${\mathcal L}$-eigenfunctions $ψ_λ^s {\in F[w]}$ {with eigenvalue $[s]$ and constant term} $ψ_λ^s|_{w=0} = j_λ$ are polynomials in the rescaled power sum basis $V_μ w^l$ of $F[w]$ with integer coefficients.
A simple proof of higher order Turán inequalities for Boros-Moll sequences

Recently, the higher order Turán inequalities for the Boros-Moll sequences $\{d_\ell(m)\}_{\ell=0}^m$ were obtained by Guo. In this paper, we show a different approach to this result. Our proof is based on a criterion derived by Hou and Li, which need only checking four simple inequalities related to sufficiently sharp bounds for $d_\ell(m)^2/(d_{\ell-1}(m)d_{\ell+1}(m))$. In order to do so, we adopt the upper bound given by Chen and Gu in studying the reverse ultra log-concavity of Boros-Moll polynomials, and establish a desired lower bound for $d_\ell(m)^2/(d_{\ell-1}(m)d_{\ell+1}(m))$ which also implies the log-concavity of $\{\ell! d_\ell(m)\}_{\ell=0}^m$ for $m\geq 2$. We also show a sharper lower bound for $d_\ell(m)^2/(d_{\ell-1}(m)d_{\ell+1}(m))$ which may be available for some deep results on inequalities of Boros-Moll sequences.

Let $Q$ be a bipartite quiver with vertex set $Q_0$ such that the number of arrows between any source vertex and any sink vertex is constant. Let $β=(β(x))_{x \in Q_0}$ be a dimension vector of $Q$ with positive integer coordinates.
Let $rep(Q, β)$ be the representation space of $β$-dimensional representations of $Q$ and $GL(β)$ the base change group acting on $rep(Q, β)$ be simultaneous conjugation. Let $K^β_{\underlineλ}$ be the multiplicity of the irreducible representation of $GL(β)$ of highest weight $\underlineλ$ in the ring of polynomial functions on $rep(Q, β)$.
We show that $K^β_{\underlineλ}$ can be expressed as the number of lattice points of a polytope obtained by gluing together two Knutson-Tao hive polytopes. Furthermore, this polytopal description together with Derksen-Weyman's Saturation Theorem for quiver semi-invariants allows us to use Tardos' algorithm to solve the membership problem for the moment cone associated to $(Q,β)$ in strongly polynomial time.
P-graph Associahedra and Hypercube Graph Associahedra
A graph associahedron is a polytope dual to a simplicial complex whose elements are induced connected subgraphs called tubes. Graph associahedra generalize permutahedra, associahedra, and cyclohedra, and therefore are of great interest to those who study Coxeter combinatorics.
This thesis characterizes nested complexes of simplicial complexes, which we call $Δ$-nested complexes. From here, we can define P-nestohedra by truncating simple polyhedra, and in more specificity define P-graph associahedra, which are realized by repeated truncation of faces of simple polyhedra in accordance with tubes of graphs.
We then define hypercube-graph associahedra as a special case. Hypercube-graph associahedra are defined by tubes and tubings on a graph with a matching of dashed edges, with tubes and tubings avoiding those dashed edges. These simple rules make hypercube-graph tubings a simple and intuitive extension of classical graph tubings. We explore properties of $Δ$-nested complexes and P-nestohedra, and use these results to explore properties of hypercube-graph associahedra, including their facets and faces, as well as their normal fans and Minkowski sum decompositions. We use these properties to develop general methods of enumerating $f$-polynomials of families of hypercube-graph associahedra. Several of these hypercube-graphs correspond to previously-studied polyhedra, such as cubeahedra, the halohedron, the type $A_n$ linear $c$-cluster associahedron, and the type $A_n$ linear $c$-cluster biassociahedron. We provide enumerations for these polyhedra and others.
A family of quantum walks on a finite graph corresponding to the generalized weighted zeta function
This paper gives the quantum walks determined by graph zeta functions. The result enables us to obtain the characteristic polynomial of the transition matrix of the quantum walk, and it determines the behavior of the quantum walk. We treat finite graphs allowing multi-edges and multi-loops.
Incidence, a Scoring Positional Game on Graphs

Positional games have been introduced by Hales and Jewett in 1963 and have been extensively investigated in the literature since then. These games are played on a hypergraph where two players alternately select an unclaimed vertex of it. In the Maker-Breaker convention, if Maker manages to fully take a hyperedge, she wins, otherwise, Breaker is the winner. In the Maker-Maker convention, the first player to take a hyperedge wins. In both cases, the game stops as soon as Maker has taken a hyperedge. By definition, this family of games does not handle scores and cannot represent games in which players want to maximize a quantity.
In this work, we introduce scoring positional games, that consist in playing on a hypergraph until all the vertices are claimed, and by defining the score as the number of hyperedges a player has fully taken. We focus here on Incidence, a scoring positional game played on a 2-uniform hypergraph, i.e. an undirected graph. In this game, two players alternately claim the vertices of a graph and score the number of edges for which they own both end vertices. In the Maker-Breaker version, Maker aims at maximizing the number of edges she owns, while Breaker aims at minimizing it. In the Maker-Maker version, both players try to take more edges than their opponent.
We first give some general results on scoring positional games such that their membership in Milnor's universe and some general bounds on the score. We prove that, surprisingly, computing the score in the Maker-Breaker version of Incidence is PSPACE-complete whereas in the Maker-Maker convention, the relative score can be obtained in polynomial time. In addition, for the Maker-Breaker convention, we give a formula for the score on paths by using some equivalences due to Milnor's universe. This result implies that the score on cycles can also be computed in polynomial time.

It is known that for every spatial complete graph on $n\ge 7$ vertices, the summation of the second coefficients of the Conway polynomials over the Hamiltonian knots is congruent to $r_{n}$ modulo $(n-5)!$, where $r_{n} = (n-5)!/2$ if $n=8k,8k+7$, and $0$ if $n\neq 8k,8k+7$. In particular the case of $n=7$ is famous as the Conway--Gordon $K_{7}$ theorem. In this paper, conversely, we show that every integer $(n-5)! q + r_{n}$ is realized as the summation of the second coefficients of the Conway polynomials over the Hamiltonian knots in some spatial complete graph on $n$ vertices.

We study the locations of complex zeroes of independence polynomials of bounded degree hypergraphs. For graphs, this is a long-studied subject with applications to statistical physics, algorithms, and combinatorics. Results on zero-free regions for bounded-degree graphs include Shearer's result on the optimal zero-free disk, along with several recent results on other zero-free regions. Much less is known for hypergraphs. We make some steps towards an understanding of zero-free regions for bounded-degree hypergaphs by proving that all hypergraphs of maximum degree $Δ$ have a zero-free disk almost as large as the optimal disk for graphs of maximum degree $Δ$ established by Shearer (of radius $\sim 1/(e Δ)$). Up to logarithmic factors in $Δ$ this is optimal, even for hypergraphs with all edge-sizes strictly greater than $2$. We conjecture that for $k\ge 3$, $k$-uniform linear hypergraphs have a much larger zero-free disk of radius $Ω(Δ^{- \frac{1}{k-1}} )$. We establish this in the case of linear hypertrees.

Crew and Spirklt generalize Stanley's chromatic symmetric function to vertex-weighted graphs. One of the primary motivations for extending the chromatic symmetric function to vertex-weighted graphs is the existence of a deletion-contraction relation in this setting, which, as known, holds for the chromatic polynomial, but doesn't hold for the chromatic symmetric function. In this paper we find a categorification of their new invariant extending the definition of chromatic symmetric homology to vertex-weighted graphs. We prove the existence of a deletion-contraction long exact sequence for chromatic symmetric homology which lifts the deletion-contraction relation that holds for the extension of Crew and Spirklt. Moreover, the new categorification gives a useful computational tool and allow us to answer two questions left open by Chandler, Sazdanovic, Stella and Yip. In particular, we prove that, for a graph G with $n$ vertices, the maximal index with nonzero homology is not greater that $n$ - 1. Moreover, we show that the homology is non-trivial for all the indices between the minimum and the maximum with this property.
Monochromatic Sums and Products of Polynomials
We show that the pattern $\{x,x+y,xy\}$ is partition regular over the space of formal integer polynomials of degree at least one with zero constant term, with primitive recursive bounds. This provides a new proof for the partition regularity of $\{x,x+y,xy\}$ over $\mathbb{N}$, which gives the first primitive recursive bound.
Universal minima of discrete potentials for sharp spherical codes

This article is devoted to the study of discrete potentials on the sphere in $\mathbb{R}^n$ for sharp codes. We show that the potentials of most of the known sharp codes attain the universal lower bounds for polarization for spherical $τ$-designs previously derived by the authors, where ``universal'' is meant in the sense of applying to a large class of potentials that includes absolutely monotone functions of inner products. We also extend our universal bounds to $T$-designs and the associated polynomial subspaces determined by the vanishing moments of spherical configurations and thus obtain the minima for the icosahedron, dodecahedron, and sharp codes coming from $E_8$ and the Leech lattice. For this purpose, we investigate quadrature formulas for certain subspaces of Gegenbauer polynomials $P^{(n)}_j$ which we call PULB subspaces, particularly those having basis $\{P_j^{(n)}\}_{j=0}^{2k+2}\setminus \{P_{2k}^{(n)}\}.$ Furthermore, for potentials with $h^{(τ+1)}<0$ we prove that the strong sharp codes and the antipodal sharp codes attain the universal bounds and their minima occur at points of the codes. The same phenomenon is established for the $600$-cell when the potential $h$ satisfies $h^{(i)}\geq 0$, $i=1,\dots,15$, and $h^{(16)}\leq 0.$

In this work, we introduce the harmonic generalization of the $m$-tuple weight enumerators of codes over finite Frobenius rings. A harmonic version of the MacWilliams-type identity for $m$-tuple weight enumerators of codes over finite Frobenius ring is also given. Moreover, we define the demi-matroid analogue of well-known polynomials from matroid theory, namely Tutte polynomials and coboundary polynomials, and associate them with a harmonic function. We also prove the Greene-type identity relating these polynomials to the harmonic $m$-tuple weight enumerators of codes over finite Frobenius rings. As an application of this Greene-type identity, we provide a simple combinatorial proof of the MacWilliams-type identity for harmonic $m$-tuple weight enumerators over finite Frobenius rings. Finally, we provide the structure of the relative invariant spaces containing the harmonic $m$-tuple weight enumerators of self-dual codes over finite fields.
Circular Costas maps: a multidimensional analog of circular Costas sequences

A unifying theoretical framework is presented, in which the connections among Costas sequences, circular Costas sequences, Costas polynomials, the shifting property, and Welch sequences are extended to the multidimensional context. Several conjectures on multidimensional periodic Costas arrays by J. Ortiz-Ubarri et al. are proved. Furthermore, a conjecture on Costas polynomials over extension fields presented by Muratovic-Ribic et al. is showed to be a multidimensional extension of a conjecture by Golomb and Moreno on circular Costas sequences. A weaker version of said conjecture is proved by considering a multidimensional extension of the shifting Costas property defined by O. Moreno.

Working in a polynomial ring $S=\mathbf{k}[x_1,\ldots,x_n]$ where $\mathbf{k}$ is an arbitrary commutative ring with $1$, we consider the $d^{th}$ Veronese subalgebras $R=S^{(d)}$, as well as natural $R$-submodules $M=S^{(\geq r, d)}$ inside $S$. We develop and use characteristic-free theory of Schur functors associated to ribbon skew diagrams as a tool to construct simple $GL_n(\mathbf{k})$-equivariant minimal free $R$-resolutions for the quotient ring $\mathbf{k}=R/R_+$ and for these modules $M$. These also lead to elegant descriptions of $\mathrm{Tor}^R_i(M,M')$ for all $i$ and $\mathrm{Hom}_R(M,M')$ for any pair of these modules $M,M'$.

Gross, Mansour and Tucker introduced the partial-twuality polynomial of a ribbon graph. Chumutov and Vignes-Tourneret posed a problem: it would be interesting to know whether the partial duality polynomial and the related conjectures would make sense for general delta-matroids. In this paper we consider analogues of partial-twuality polynomials for delta-matroids. Various possible properties of partial-twuality polynomials of set systems are studied. We discuss the numerical implications of partial-twualities on a single element and prove that the intersection graphs can determine the partial-twuality polynomials of bouquets and normal binary delta-matroids, respectively. Finally, we give a characterization of vf-safe delta-matroids whose partial-twuality polynomials have only one term.
Palindromic Polynomials over Finite Fields
For any finite field $\mathbb{F}$ and any positive integer $n$ we count the number of monic polynomials of degree $n$ over $\mathbb{F}$ with nonzero constant coefficient and a self-reciprocal factor of any specified degree. An application is given for systems of linear equations over $\mathbb{F}$ of index $2$.
Antipode formulas for pattern Hopf algebras
The permutation pattern Hopf algebra is a commutative filtered and connected Hopf algebra. Its product structure stems from counting patterns of a permutation, interpreting the coefficients as permutation quasi-shuffles. The Hopf algebra was shown to be a free commutative algebra and to fit into a general framework of pattern Hopf algebras, via species with restrictions.
In this paper we introduce the cancellation-free and grouping-free formula for the antipode of the permutation pattern Hopf algebra. To obtain this formula, we use the popular sign-reversing involution method, by Benedetti and Sagan. This formula has applications on polynomial invariants on permutations, in particular for obtaining reciprocity theorems. On our way, we also introduce the packed word patterns Hopf algebra and present a formula for its antipode.
Other pattern algebras are discussed here, notably on parking functions, which recovers notions recently studied by Adeniran and Pudwell, and by Qiu and Remmel.
Symmetric and Nonsymmetric Macdonald Polynomials via a Path Model with a Pseudo-crystal Structure

In this paper we derive a counterpart of the well-known Ram-Yip formula for symmetric and nonsymmetric Macdonald polynomials of arbitrary type. Our new formula is in terms of a generalization of the Lakshmibai-Seshadri paths (originating in standard monomial theory), which we call pseudo-quantum Lakshmibai-Seshadri (LS) paths. This model carries less information than the alcove walks in the Ram-Yip formula, and it is therefore more efficient. Furthermore, we construct a connected pseudo-crystal structure on the pseudo-quantum LS paths, which is expected to lead to a simple Littlewood-Richardson rule for multiplying Macdonald polynomials. By contrast with the Kashiwara crystals, our pseudo-crystals have edges labeled by arbitrary roots.
