We study cells with respect to the $p$-canonical basis of the Hecke algebra of a crystallographic Coxeter system (see arXiv:1510.01556, arXiv:1901.02323) and their compatibility with standard parabolic subgroups. We show that after induction to the surrounding bigger Coxeter group the cell module of a right $p$-cell in a standard parabolic subgroup decomposes as a direct sum of cell modules. Along the way, we state some new positivity properties of the $p$-canonical basis.

In this paper we extend the Robinson-Schensted-Knuth (RSK) superinsertion algorithm to hook-multipartitions and derive the super Frobenius formula for the characters of cyclotomic Hecke algebras (Linear and Multilinear Algebra, DOI: 10.1080/03081087.2019.1663140) via the RSK superinsertion algorithm. In particular, we obtain a new proof of Mitsuhashi's super Frobenius formula for the characters of Iwahori-Hecke algebras.
The $0$-Rook Monoid and its Representation Theory
We show that a proper degeneracy at $q=0$ of the $q$-deformed rook monoid of Solomon is the algebra of a monoid $R_n^0$ namely the $0$-rook monoid, in the same vein as Norton's $0$-Hecke algebra being the algebra of a monoid $H_n^0 = H^0(A_{n-1})$ (in Cartan type~$A_{n-1}$). As expected, $R_n^0$ is closely related to the latter: it contains the $H^0(A_{n-1})$ monoid and is a quotient of $H^0(B_{n})$. We give a presentation for this monoid as well as a combinatorial realization as functions acting on the classical rook monoid itself. On the way we get a Matsumoto theorem for the rook monoid a result which was conjectured by Solomon.
The $0$-rook monoid shares many combinatorial properties with the Hecke monoid: its Green right preorder is an actual order, and moreover a lattice (analogous to the right weak order) which has some nice combinatorial, and geometrical features. In particular the $0$-rook monoid is J-trivial.
Following Denton-Hivert-Schilling-Thiéry, it allows us to describe its representation theory including the description of the simple and projective modules. We further show that $R_n^0$ is projective on $H_n^0$ and make explicit the restriction and induction functors along the inclusion map. We finally give a (partial) associative tower structures on the family of $(R_n^0)$ and we discuss its representation theory.
Stability of the Hecke algebra of wreath products
The Hecke algebras $\mathcal{H}_{n,k}$ of the group pairs $(S_{kn}, S_k\wr S_n)$ can be endowed with a filtration with respect to the orbit structures of the elements of $S_{kn}$ relative to the action of $S_{kn}$ on the set of $k$-partitions of $\{1,\dots,kn\}$. We prove that the structure constants of the associated filtered algebra $\mathcal{F}_{n,k} $ is independent of $n$. The stability property enables the construction of a universal algebra $\mathcal{F}$ to govern the algebras $\mathcal{F}_{n,k}$. We also prove that the structure constants of the algebras $\mathcal{H}_{n,k}$ are polynomials in $n$. For $k=2$, when the algebras $(\mathcal{F}_{n,2})_{n\in \mathbb{N}}$ are commutative, these results were obtained by Aker and Can, by Can and Ozden, and by Tout.

We define a new category analogous to ${\bf FI}$ for the $0$-Hecke algebra $H_n(0)$ called the $0$-Hecke category, $\mathcal{H}$, indexing sequences of representations of $H_n(0)$ as $n$ varies under suitable compatibility conditions. We establish a new type of representation stability in this setting and prove it is implied by being a finitely generated $\mathcal{H}$-module. We then provide examples of $\mathcal{H}$-modules and discuss further desirable properties these modules possess.
Cyclotomic quiver Hecke algebras corresponding to minuscule representations
In the paper, we give an explicit basis of the cyclotomic quiver Hecke algebra corresponding to a minuscule representation of finite type.

This is a survey on the combinatorics and geometry of integrable representations of quantum affine Lie algebras with a particular focus on level 0. Pictures and examples are included to illustrate the affine Weyl group orbits, crystal graphs and Macdonald polynomials that provide detailed understanding of the structure of the extremal weight modules and their characters. The final section surveys the alcove walk method of working with the positive level, negative level and level zero affine flag varieties and describes the corresponding actions of the affine Hecke algebra.

The goal of this paper is to prove theorems that elucidate the Cohen-Lenstra-Martinet conjectures for the distributions of class groups of number fields, and further the understanding of their implications. We start by giving a simpler statement of the conjectures. We show that the probabilities that arise are inversely proportional the to number of automorphisms of structures slightly larger than the class groups. We find the moments of the Cohen-Lenstra-Martinet distributions and prove that the distributions are determined by their moments. In order to apply these conjectures to class groups of non-Galois fields, we prove a new theorem on the capitulation kernel (of ideal classes that become trivial in a larger field) to relate the class groups of non-Galois fields to the class groups of Galois fields. We then construct an integral model of the Hecke algebra of a finite group, show that it acts naturally on class groups of non-Galois fields, and prove that the Cohen-Lenstra-Martinet conjectures predict a distribution for class groups of non-Galois fields that involves the inverse of the number of automorphisms of the class group as a Hecke-module.
Finite-dimensional modules of the universal Racah algebra and the universal additive DAHA of type $(C_1^\vee,C_1)$
Assume that $\mathbb F$ is an algebraically closed field with characteristic zero. The universal Racah algebra $\Re$ is a unital associative $\mathbb F$-algebra defined by generators and relations. The generators are $A,B, C, D$ and the relations state that $$ [A,B]=[B,C]=[C,A]=2D $$ and each of \begin{gather*} [A,D]+AC-BA, \qquad [B,D]+BA-CB, \qquad [C,D]+CB-AC \end{gather*} is central in $\Re$. The universal additive DAHA (double affine Hecke algebra) $\mathfrak H$ of type $(C_1^\vee,C_1)$ is a unital associative $\mathbb F$-algebra generated by $t_0,t_1,t_0^\vee,t_1^\vee$ and the relations state that $$ t_0+t_1+t_0^\vee+t_1^\vee=-1 $$ and each of $t_0^2, t_1^2, t_0^{\vee 2}, t_1^{\vee 2}$ is central in $\mathfrak H$. Each $\mathfrak H$-module is an $\Re$-module by pulling back via the algebra homomorphism $\Re\to \mathfrak H$ given by \begin{eqnarray*} A &\mapsto & \frac{(t_1^\vee+t_0^\vee)(t_1^\vee+t_0^\vee+2)}{4}, \\ B &\mapsto & \frac{(t_1+t_1^\vee)(t_1+t_1^\vee+2)}{4}, \\ C &\mapsto & \frac{(t_0^\vee+t_1)(t_0^\vee+t_1+2)}{4}. \end{eqnarray*} Let $V$ denote any finite-dimensional irreducible $\mathfrak H$-module. The set of $\Re$-submodules of $V$ forms a lattice under the inclusion partial order. We classify the lattices that arise by this construction. As a consequence, the $\Re$-module $V$ is completely reducible if and only if $t_0$ is diagonalizable on $V$.

We construct a family of infinite-dimensional positive sub-coalgebras within the Grothendieck ring of Hecke algebras, when viewed as a Hopf algebra with respect to the induction and restriction functor. These sub-coalgebras have as structure constants the 3-point genus zero Gromov-Witten invariants of Grassmannians and are spanned by what we call cylindric Hecke characters, a particular set of virtual characters for whose computation we give several explicit combinatorial formulae. One of these expressions is a generalisation of Ram's formula for irreducible Hecke characters and uses cylindric broken rim hook tableaux. We show that the latter are in bijection with so-called `ice configurations' on a cylindrical square lattice, which define the asymmetric six-vertex model in statistical mechanics. A key ingredient of our construction is an extension of the boson-fermion correspondence to Hecke algebras and employing the latter we find new expressions for Jing's vertex operators of Hall-Littlewood functions in terms of the six-vertex transfer matrices on the infinite planar lattice.
Uglov bipartitions and extended Young diagrams
We study the class of Uglov bipartitions and prove a generalization of a conjecture by Dipper, James and Murphy. We give two consequences concerning the computation of canonical bases in affine type A and the description of decomposition matrices for Hecke algebras of type Bn in arbitrary characteristic.
Hecke algebras of simply-laced type with independent parameters
We study the (complex) Hecke algebra $\mathcal{H}_S(\mathbf{q})$ of a finite simply-laced Coxeter system $(W,S)$ with independent parameters $\mathbf{q} \in \left( \mathbb{C} \setminus\{\text{roots of unity}\} \right)^S$. We construct its irreducible representations and projective indecomposable representations. We obtain the quiver of this algebra and determine when it is of finite representation type. We provide decomposition formulas for induced and restricted representations between the algebra $\mathcal{H}_S(\mathbf{q})$ and the algebra $\mathcal{H}_R(\mathbf{q}|_R)$ with $R\subseteq S$. Our results demonstrate an interesting combination of the representation theory of finite Coxeter groups and their 0-Hecke algebras, including a two-sided duality between the induced and restricted representations.

Motivic Chern classes are elements in the K-theory of an algebraic variety $X$, depending on an extra parameter $y$. They are determined by functoriality and a normalization property for smooth $X$. In this paper we calculate the motivic Chern classes of Schubert cells in the (equivariant) K-theory of flag manifolds $G/B$. We show that the motivic class of a Schubert cell is determined recursively by the Demazure-Lusztig operators in the Hecke algebra of the Weyl group of $G$, starting from the class of a point. The resulting classes are conjectured to satisfy a positivity property. We use the recursions to give a new proof that they are equivalent to certain K-theoretic stable envelopes recently defined by Okounkov and collaborators, thus recovering results of Fehér, Rimányi and Weber. The Hecke algebra action on the K-theory of the Langlands dual flag manifold matches the Hecke action on the Iwahori invariants of the principal series representation associated to an unramified character for a group over a nonarchimedean local field. This gives a correspondence identifying the duals of the motivic Chern classes to the standard basis in the Iwahori invariants, and the fixed point basis to Casselman's basis. We apply this correspondence to prove two conjectures of Bump, Nakasuji and Naruse concerning factorizations and holomorphy properties of the coefficients in the transition matrix between the standard and the Casselman's basis.
Kazhdan-Lusztig left cells in type $B_n$ for intermediate parameters
Using a characterization of a generalized $τ$-invariant for intermediate parameter Hecke algebras in type $B_n$, we verify a conjectural description of Kazhdan-Lusztig cells in this setting due to C. Bonnafé, L. Iancu, M. Geck, and T. Lam.
Asymptotic Hecke algebras and Lusztig-Vogan bijection via affine matrix-ball construction
Affine matrix-ball construction (abbreviated AMBC) was developed by Chmutov, Lewis, Pylyavskyy, and Yudovina as an affine generalization of Robinson-Schensted correspondence. We show that AMBC gives a simple way to compute a distinguished (or Duflo) involution in each Kazhdan-Lusztig cell of affine symmetric groups. We then use AMBC to give the first known canonical presentation for the asymptotic Hecke algebras of extended affine symmetric groups. As an application, we show that AMBC gives a conceptual way to compute Lusztig-Vogan bijection. For the latter we build upon prior works of Achar and Rush.
The ABC of p-Cells
Parallel to the very rich theory of Kazhdan-Lusztig cells in characteristic $0$, we try to build a similar theory in positive characteristic. We study cells with respect to the $p$-canonical basis of the Hecke algebra of a crystallographic Coxeter system (see arXiv:1510.01556(2)). Our main technical tool are the star-operations introduced by Kazhdan-Lusztig which have interesting numerical consequences for the $p$-canonical basis. As an application, we explicitely describe $p$-cells in finite type $A$ (i.e. for symmetric groups) using the Robinson-Schensted correspondence. Moreover, we show that Kazhdan-Lusztig cells in finite types $B$ and $C$ decompose into $p$-cells for $p > 2$.
A Note on Specializations of Grothendieck Polynomials
Buch and Rimányi proved a formula for specializations of double Grothendieck polynomials based on the Yang-Baxter equation related to the degenerate Hecke algebra. A geometric proof was found by Yong and Woo by constructing a Gröbner basis for the Kazhdan-Lusztig ideals. In this note, we give an elementary proof for this formula by using only divided difference operators.

This article serves as an introduction to several recent developments in the study of quasisymmetric functions. The focus of this survey is on connections between quasisymmetric functions and the combinatorial Hopf algebra of noncommutative symmetric functions, appearances of quasisymmetric functions within the theory of Macdonald polynomials, and analogues of symmetric functions. Topics include the significance of quasisymmetric functions in representation theory (such as representations of the 0-Hecke algebra), recently discovered bases (including analogues of well-studied symmetric function bases), and applications to open problems in symmetric function theory.

We introduce a new family of finite posets which we call 2-chains. These first arose in the study of 0-Hecke algebras, but they admit a variety of different characterisations. We give these characterisations, prove that they are equivalent and derive some numerical results concerning 2-chains.
The relation between Parabolic Hecke modules and $W$-graph ideal modules in Kazhdan-Lusztig theory
In 2011, Howlett and Nguyen \cite{r1} introduced the concept of a $W$-graph ideal $E_J$ in $\left ( W,\leqslant_{L} \right )$ with respect to $J$ (a subset of $S$), where $\leqslant _{L}$ is the left weak order on $W$. They proved that one can construct a $W$-graph from a given $W$-graph ideal by constructing a Hecke module structure on $E_J$, where the $W$-graph was introduced by Kazhdan and Lusztig in \cite{d1}.
In this paper, we give the relation between Hecke modules on $E_J$ and general Hecke algebras by considering the relation between Hecke modules on $E_J$ and parabolic Hecke modules. And inspired by Lusztig \cite{g3}, we show that the parabolic Hecke module is isomorphic to a left ideal of the Hecke algebra. Lastly, we give the relation between $R$-polynomials on $E_J$ and parabolic $R$-polynomials as an application of the main results.
